Matapos ang magnitude 7.5 na lindol na yumanig sa Davao Oriental at mga karatig nitong probinsya kaninang 9am, nagtaas ng tsunami warning ang PHIVOLCS sa mga probinsya ng: Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Leyte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, at Davao Oriental.

❗️Paalala ng DOH, ihanda na agad ang Emergency GO BAG sakaling kailangang lumikas dahil sa posibleng tsunami sa iyong lugar.❗️

Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital joins in the celebration of Global Handwashing Day 2025

Handwashing and hand hygiene are crucial for preventing the spread of infectious diseases and reduction of Healthcare-Associated Infections. Good hand hygiene practices contribute to the overall health of populations, reducing the burden on healthcare system and promoting healthier communities.

Global Handwashing Day is celebrated on October 15 each year and serves to promote awareness about the importance of hand hand hygiene and encouraging people to adopt proper hand washing practices. It provides opportunity to educate individuals about the correct techniques for handwashing and its benefits. For Global Commitment it emphasizes the need for global commitment to improving hand hygiene practices in all settings, including schools, healthcare facilities, and communities.

Handwashing and hand hygiene are vital for preventing disease and promoting public health, and Global Handwshing Day is an important initiative to raise awareness and encourage proper hand washing / hand hygiene practices.

May is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

Ang cervical cancer ay isang uri ng kanser na nabubuo sa cervix, ang bahagi ng matris na konektado sa puwerta. Kadalasang sanhi ito ng matagal na impeksyon ng human papillomavirus (HPV).

Alamin ang mga sintomas ng sakit na ito:

Pagdurugo kahit wala sa regla
Masakit ang puson o ibabang bahagi ng tiyan
May pagbabago sa discharge
Masakit tuwing nakikipagtalik

Magpabakuna laban sa HPV (9-14 taong gulang) at magpa-cervical cancer screening sa health center.

May is Road Safety Month.

Magmaneho nang ligtas, umuwi nang buo sa ating pamilya!

Ang road safety ay hindi lamang tungkulin ng mga drayber kundi responsibilidad ng bawat isa sa kalsada. Ang pagiging maingat sa pagmamaneho ay mahalaga upang maprotektahan ang sarili, ang mga pasahero, at ibang gumagamit ng daan.

Maging maingat sa kalsada—magsuot ng helmet, huwag uminom ng alak, iwasan ang paggamit ng cellphone, at panatilihing kalmado ang pagmamaneho. Ang simpleng disiplina sa pagmamaneho ay malaking hakbang para maiwasan ang aksidente.

Magmaneho nang may malasakit, dahil bawat buhay sa kalsada ay may halaga.

May is Hypertension Awareness Month.

Ang altapresyon o high blood pressure ay isang seryosong kondisyon na maaaring humantong sa stroke, atake sa puso, at iba pang komplikasyon. Tumataas ang panganib na magkaroon nito dahil sa hindi tamang pagkain, kakulangan sa ehersisyo, paninigarilyo, stress, at labis na timbang.

Alagaan ang katawan sa pamamagitan ng 𝗧𝗘𝗗—Tamang pagkain, Ehersisyo, at Disiplina.

Magpa-BP nang regular at magpa-check up upang mapanatiling malusog ang puso at makaiwas sa mga sakit.
