CNSAT’s Barayuga Clinches First Runner-Up in 2026 National Festival of Talents

ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ – Aeros John Emmanuel P. Barayuga, representing the Cabarroguis National School of Arts and Trades (CNSAT), brought honor to his school and province after securing the First Runner-Up spot in the "Savor d’ Flavor" competition during the 2026 National Festival of Talents (NFOT).

The prestigious national event, which highlights the diverse skills of Filipino learners, took place from April 18 to 22, 2026. This year’s edition centered on the theme, "Empowering Change, Redefining Excellence," a principle that Barayuga embodied throughout his performance in the culinary showcase.

Behind this notable achievement stands a strong support system led by his coach, Dr. Teresita P. Tabangin (Master Teacher I), whose guidance proved instrumental in preparing Barayuga for the intensity of the national competition.

The achievement is also a source of immense pride for the entire CNSAT community, led by Principal IV Dr. Richard C. Subia. The school leadership has consistently emphasized the importance of honing student talents and providing avenues for them to excel beyond the classroom, a commitment that was clearly realized in this year’s NFOT.

As the 2026 NFOT concludes in Roxas City, Barayuga’s performance stands as a highlight for the delegation. His victory serves as an inspiration to fellow students, proving that with passion, proper mentorship, and a clear vision, redefining excellence is well within reach for the next generation of Filipino talent.

19 athletes stepped onto the stage, each one carrying unseen battles, sacrifices, and dreams that pushed them this far. Every stride, every play, every second counted—moments built from early mornings, late nights, and the kind of discipline not everyone gets to see.

As the final results settled, a few rose just a little higher, finding their place where effort meets outcome—not by chance, but through resilience and consistency. Still, every athlete’s journey deserves recognition, because each one gave their all and represented something bigger than themselves.

In the end, it wasn’t just about where they stood, but how far they’ve come—and how much further they’re willing to go. 🏆
