BARANGAY KALINISAN DAY WEEK 38
On September 19, 2026, Barangay Santo Niño, Cabangan, Zambales Council, headed by Punong Barangay Bueno, together with his Barangay Kagawads, barangay personnels, 4Ps beneficiaries, and community volunteers, conducted a coastal cleanup drive in observance of International Coastal Cleanup Day.
In line with this year's national theme, “Working together for cleaner seas and ”, as well as global and regional calls for “Clean Seas for Resilient Communities”, our local heroes joined hands to safeguard our coastal ecosystems.
With a total of 35 participants:
Brgy Council - 5
Brgy Personnels - 10
4Ps - 17
Community Volunteers - 3
The dedicated team, worked hand in hand to remove marine debris, plastic waste, and other litter along the coastal area to protect our marine life and keep our shores clean.
A total of 217 kilograms of waste was collected and properly segregated into biodegradable and non-biodegradable.
