One of the common questions we get is "what's the best pet for beginners?" We always suggest the Leopard Gecko! These geckos have a long lifespan and are a tough bunch! They can survive months without water and food!!! This is because they somehow store nutrients from what they eat to their tail. Pretty much the same how camels store water with their humps!

Even if they do survive months without food and water please be advised that they need constant feeding and attention and you must follow a suggested feeding schedule and diet.
