DTI Nueva Ecija actively participated in the Stakeholder Consultation on Value Chain Analysis (VCA) conducted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) โ€“ Forest Management Bureau, under the Forest and Landscape Restoration (FLR) Project in the Pantabanganโ€“Carranglan Watershed Forest Reserve (PCWFR) on Aug 4, 2026.

The workshop focused on validating and enriching the findings of the value chain assessment for fuelwood, cashew, and bamboo, providing valuable insights and stakeholder perspectives toward the development of sustainable, inclusive, and evidence-based commodity value chains in the watershed.

DTI NE actively participated in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) by sharing insights and inputs on the purple yam value chain, particularly on existing industry conditions, market dynamics, challenges, opportunities, and possible interventions. DTI Nueva Ecija actively supported the ๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ-๐๐ˆ๐๐€๐’ initiative of Access Network by Ra OMEGA and the International Trade Centre (ITC), in partnership with DICT and other stakeholders, aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of MSMEs engaged in processing and agriculture sector.

Out of the five (5) target sessions, three (3) sessions were successfully conducted in Nueva Ecija, namely: August 3, 2026 at Science City of Muรฑoz (Plaza Adriano) with Trade Fair, August 5, 2026 at Pantabangan LGU, and August 7, 2026 at San Jose City Department of Agriculture.

DTI NE contributed through the promotion of its programs and services, participant invitation, and coordination with local stakeholders. The activity provided MSMEs, farmers, and cooperatives with opportunities to enhance their digital skills, explore e-commerce and digital financial services, and expand their access to digital markets.

DTI Nueva Ecija conducted a meeting at the Conference Hall of First Gen. Hydro Power Corporation with its partner Farmer Associations from Pantabangan and Carranglan.

DTI presented its various programs and services, including opportunities for enterprise development and support for priority industries such as coffee, cacao, bamboo, and purple yam as potential livelihood and business ventures in the area.

The meeting also explored possible project collaboration and resource complementation with members of the Nueva Ecija MSME Development Council (NE-MSMEDC) to support the development and sustainability of local farmer enterprises.

DTI Nueva Ecija facilitated the meeting proceedings, coordinated the presentation and review of agenda items, documented agreements, and supported the finalization of the 2026โ€“2028 Nueva Ecija Coffee Development Plan in collaboration with partner agencies and coffee industry stakeholders.

The meeting also discussed the conduct of the First Coffee Day on September 10, 2026, to be hosted by LGU Carranglan, as an initiative to promote Carranglan coffee and strengthen collaboration among coffee stakeholders in the province.

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng BSP at DTI Nueva Ecija, halos 200 MSMEs ang dumalo onsite at mahigit 1,100 ang nakilahok online. Tampok din ang pakikilahok ng mga partner banks at financial institutions na nagbahagi ng impormasyon at access sa financial services, kabilang ang account opening.

Bahagi rin ng programa ang session ng DTI E-Commerce Bureau on Philippine E-Trustmark, na nagbigay ng mahahalagang kaalaman sa MSMEs tungkol sa building consumer trust and establishing a credible digital presence for their businesses.

Tinalakay din ang cash flow management, responsible borrowing, digital financial safety, consumer trust, insurance, at iba pang strategies upang maging mas financially resilient at growth-ready ang MSMEs.

Para sa mas matatag, mapagkakatiwalaan, at handang lumago na MSMEs!

The Nueva Ecija YEP Summit & Trade Fair 2026, themed โ€œEmpowering Young Entrepreneurs through Innovation, Collaboration, and Market Opportunities,โ€ was successfully held on August 12โ€“16, 2026, at WalterMart San Jose, featuring the 1st Novo Ecijano Young Entrepreneurs Trade Fair.

The event provided young entrepreneurs with opportunities to showcase their products, gain market exposure, build networks, and strengthen their entrepreneurial skills.

As part of the program, 23 school partners and cooperators were recognized for their valuable support and participation. The event also featured the induction of the new YEP Officers for 2026โ€“2027, highlighting renewed commitment to youth leadership and entrepreneurship.

A total of 28 young entrepreneurs participated in the trade fair, promoting their products and engaging with consumers and potential business partners.

The summit also featured learning sessions, including the SB Corporation Youth Financing Learning Session and Business Incubation Program, which provided insights on financing, mentorship, and business development.

The successful event highlighted the importance of collaboration among youth, schools, businesses, and stakeholders in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth in Nueva Ecija.
