𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞

In line with its continuing commitment to uphold integrity, professionalism, and a drug-free workplace, the BJMP Regional Office III personnel spearheaded by JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, successfully conducted a random drug testing activity in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Regional Office III held at BJMPRO-III Conference Room on May 28, 2026.

Following the conduct of the examination, all personnel who participated in the activity yielded negative results in the drug testing, demonstrating the bureau’s commitment to maintaining a clean, disciplined, and drug-free organization.

Through this initiative, the BJMPRO-III continues to stand firm in its advocacy against illegal drugs while ensuring that its personnel remain role models of integrity and professionalism in the community.

The BJMP Regional Office III, under the leadership of JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, attended the Entrance Conference of the Commission on Audit (COA) headed by Ms. Liezel B. Ong, State Auditor IV, Audit Team Leader, held at BJMPRO-III Conference Room on May 26, 2026.

The Entrance Conference plays a vital role in strengthening coordination between the agency and the auditing body. It establishes clear communication, promotes mutual understanding of responsibilities, and ensures that all financial transactions, programs, and operational activities are properly reviewed in accordance with government standards.

BJMPRO-III MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

Personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III, under the leadership of JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, commenced the week through the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the BJMPRO-III Compound this morning, May 25, 2026.

Anchored on this week’s Value Focus on “Prayerfulness,” JO1 Camille M Guiao, OIC Knowledge and Research Services/Values Restoration Officer, emphasized the significance of a steadfast and sincere prayer as a guiding force in the daily service of public duty.

ATTENTION, FUTURE JAIL OFFICERS!

Below is the list of aspiring Jail Officer 1 who are scheduled to attend the Medical and Dental Evaluation at BJMPRO-III Conference Room, Brgy. Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on the date and time indicated.

Applicants for dental evaluation shall proceed to dental clinics of choice and undergo dental services as advised by JO3 Hazel I Vega, DMD, Dental Officer during the Initial Dental Evaluation and secure dental certificates.

Please bring the Original Copy and one (1) photo copy of the Diagnostics and Laboratory Results on your scheduled medical and dental evaluation.

COURTESY CALL AND PARTNERSHIP DIALOGUE WITH COLEGIO DE SAN MARTIN, INC.

The BJMP Regional Office III, led by JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, warmly received the courtesy call of Colegio de San Martin, Inc. School President Mr. Christopher Lemneo A. Soriano and School Vice President Ms. Ellen DG. Soriano at BJMPRO-III, Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, Brgy. Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga this morning, May 21, 2026.

During the visit, Mr. and Mrs. Soriano conducted an orientation and briefing on current initiatives, ongoing projects, and future directions involving jail facilities. They also expressed their willingness to extend its programs not only in Bulacan province but to all jail facilities in Region III, opening opportunities for stronger collaboration in education, community development, and reformation initiatives for the PDL.

This activity serves as an avenue to strengthen coordination and partnership in support of existing educational and developmental programs for PDL across the region.

STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION OF PERSONS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY (PDL)

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III, led by JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, in partnership with Tarlac State University headed by Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza, University President, advanced another milestone in strengthening reformation through education with the Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Agreement at Tarlac City Jail-Male and Female Dormitories on May 20, 2026.

Anchored on the initiative “From Custody to Community: Empowering Persons Deprived of Liberty through Governance Education,” the program under the College of Public Administration and Governance of TSU aims to deliver accessible higher education behind bars, nurturing knowledge, discipline, and hope for a more productive future.

This partnership reflects a shared vision of turning jail facilities into learning spaces that provide the PDL greater access to higher education, skills development, and values formation to support their successful reintegration into society.

A Celebration of Leadership and Camaraderie

The personnel of the BJMP Regional Office III gathered in a simple yet meaningful celebration to honor the birthday of JCSUPT MA ANNIE A ESPINOSA, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, together with the personnel celebrating their birthdays in the month of May.

The activity further strengthened the spirit of solidarity and camaraderie among personnel, reflecting the Bureau’s commitment to fostering a workplace anchored on mutual respect, appreciation, and professionalism.

Retirement honors were also given to JINSP WINSTON M JACALA in recognition of his dedicated years of service and invaluable contributions to the Bureau. Personnel expressed their gratitude and appreciation for his commitment, professionalism, and unwavering service throughout his career in the organization.
