May oportunidad po tayo na kumita habang tumutulong sa kalikasan. May teknolohiya po ang Provincial Government of Isabela para gawing plastic chairs at pallets ang mga recyclable plastics. Bumibili po sila ng HDPE at PP na uri ng plastikโ€”halimbawa, mga takip ng bote at iba pang makakapal na plastik. Hindi po kasama ang PVC at PET.

โ‚ฑ8 kada kilo po ang bili ng PGI. Kung may makokolekta po kayo, dalhin lamang sa munisipyo ngayong Friday para ma-pick up at mabayaran din agad.

Sama-sama po nating gawing malinis ang ating komunidad habang nagkakaroon ng dagdag kita.

World Water Day is celebrated every March 22 and was officially declared by United Nations General Assembly in 1992 to highlight the importance of freshwater and advocate for sustainable water management.

As part of the municipality's commitment to ensuring safe and quality water for Cabagueรฑos, Sanitation Inspector Oscar Zipagan and Forester AG Peter Binoya visited Barangays Pilig Alto and Pilig Abajo to collect water samples from selected deep wells and faucets. These samples will undergo laboratory analysis to determine their quality and compliance with bacteriological standards.

The monitoring initiative forms part of the municipality's continuing efforts to assess the condition of groundwater sources and ensure that they meet established public health standards.

In celebration of the ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, the LGU Cabagan Cabagan Tourism and Socio-Cultural Office in partnership with Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office - Cabagan presents the LGU Cabagan Official Seal Inter-High School Mosaic Arts Competition.

Showcased below are the official entries for the competition, creatively crafted using recycled plastic materials by participating high schools in the municipality of Cabagan.

Through this competition, discarded plastic wastes are transformed into vibrant mosaic artworks, demonstrating how materials often considered as waste can be repurposed into meaningful and inspiring pieces of art. The activity also supports the municipalityโ€™s waste diversion program which encourages the recovery, recycling and productive reuse of waste materials to minimize the volume of waste disposed in the sanitary landfill.

Furthermore, the competition reinforces the objectives of Republic Act 9003 otherwise known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, promoting environmental awareness among the youth while showcasing how creativity and sustainability can work together in building a cleaner and greener community.

To ensure safe and potable drinking water, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office continuously monitors compliance with the mandatory monthly microbiological analysis of all water refilling stations in Cabagan.

Shown below are the official laboratory results of the water samples collected for the month of February, evaluating their compliance with the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water.

We remind everyone to purchase drinking water only from compliant and regularly monitored water refilling stations, and to immediately report any concerns to MENRO.
