To our beloved kabataan,

We want to sincerely address the recent Memorandum Circular issued by the Office of the Provincial SK Federation regarding the temporary suspension of SK sports activities and the reallocation of resources due to the current national situation.

We understand the excitement, preparation, and anticipation surrounding our Araw ng Kauswagan this coming April 25. This event is not just a program for us, it represents joy, unity, and the spirit of youth in our barangay. That is why this decision is truly not easy for us as your SK officials.

However, as servant-leaders, we are bound not only by our passion to serve, but also by our duty to follow guidelines and prioritize the greater welfare of our community. In times of uncertainty, we are called to act with responsibility, prudence, and compassion, redirecting efforts toward programs that address more urgent needs such as preparedness, wellness, and support for our youth.

Please understand that this is a temporary measure, not a cancellation of our vision for youth engagement. The goal remains the same: to uplift, empower, and bring our youth together in meaningful ways, just in different forms suited to the present situation.

We assure you, we are not stopping the celebration, we are reimagining it. We are actively working on alternative activities that will still bring enjoyment, connection, and purpose to our barangay, even without the usual sports events.

To our fellow youth, we humbly ask for your patience, understanding, and cooperation. Your support during this time strengthens us as leaders and reminds us why we continue to serve despite challenges.

December 17, 2025 marked a truly successful and heartwarming night as the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Brgy. Kauswagan held the judging of the competition “Christmas sa Waiting Shed.”
The photos speak of more than lights and decorations, they reflect a community bound by hard work, creativity, teamwork, and shared joy. 🎄🤍

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the participating puroks and residents who poured their time, effort, and love into transforming waiting sheds into symbols of Christmas spirit and unity. This achievement would not be possible without your bayanihan and unwavering support.
