The Oath has been taken. The Gavel has been passed. โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ

To the outgoing officers of the College of Education Student Council your term was never just a position held. It was a season of real work, real effort, and real care for the students you served. Every step you took, every challenge you pushed through, and every win you celebrated together shaped this council into what it is today. You have earned your rest, and this college thanks you sincerely.

And to our now current council, you are not walking into an empty room. You are walking into something already alive, already moving, already full of heart. Your job is to keep that energy going, to grow it, and to make it even better. The students are cheering for you, and so are we.

The College of Education has always been home to leaders worth watching, and this new chapter is no different. What lies ahead is full of possibility, and we cannot wait to see how this council rises to meet it.

The best is truly still to come. Let's go!

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan!

On this day, June 12, 1898, our forebears stood together and declared to the world that the Filipino people are free. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for this nation gave us the foundation upon which we stand today.

Independence Day is not just a date on the calendar but a reminder of who we are and what we are capable of when we stand as one. As we commemorate 128 years of freedom, let us honor the past by continuing to build a nation worthy of the blood and dreams of those who came before us.

From the College of Education Student Council of Mindanao State University - Zamboanga Sibugay, we extend our warmest greetings to every Filipino. May the spirit of kalayaan continue to guide and unite us all.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino.

To the Ones Who Served before the Spotlight.

Before the events were planned, before the resolutions were passed, before the programs came to life, there were people who said yes to the responsibility, even when it wasn't easy.

You led meetings when the room was uncertain, managed resources with care, knowing every peso came from trust. You kept the records, handled the finances, drafted the documents, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. The work was often behind the scenes, rarely glamorous, and sometimes thankless, but you showed up anyway.

There were days the weight of the position was heavier than expected, decisions that weren't easy, and moments that tested your patience. And still, you stayed. You finished.

Now, as you pass the torch to the next set of leaders, know that what you built does not disappear. It lives in the systems you strengthened, the students you served, and the standard you set for those who come after you.

The College of Education is better because you led it. Rest well, and walk forward with pride. ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ’›

A new light, a new beginning.

A new set of student leaders has risen to carry the torch for the College of Education. Today, we proudly introduce the newly installed officers of the College of Education Student Council, Academic Year 2026โ€“2027, a dedicated team chosen by their fellow Education students to lead, serve, and make a difference within and beyond the campus.

From the Governor down to the Board Members, each officer steps into their role with a mandate that goes beyond titles and positions. They are called to listen, to act, and to stand for the welfare of every student in the College of Education. The council that now takes the helm represents not just themselves, but the collective hopes and aspirations of the entire college community.

To our new student leaders, the responsibility may be heavy, but so is the support behind you. Lead with purpose, serve with integrity, and let every decision you make reflect the values this college stands for. Once again, congratulations!

PADAYON!

Project LANE: A Collective Vision
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThis is Project LANE: Literacy and Numeracy Enhancement. In February 2026, we arrived at Agutayan Paaralan ng Buhay Elementary School, Barangay Agutayan, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay, to witness young minds discover the power of learning.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe numbers improved. The confidence grew. The smiles spoke volumes. But the real victory wasn't measured in test scores, it was measured in the willingness of students to listen, to try, and to believe in themselves.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWe teach not because we were told to teach in our classrooms. We teach because we've seen it. We've witnessed it firsthand the transformation that occurs when knowledge meets opportunity, when a child realizes they're capable, when a community decides that every learner matters. That experience changes everything.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽTo our Faculty, thank you for your guidance, your expertise, and your unwavering support despite your demanding schedules. To our COEd Student Council officers and volunteers from different college programs, your heart and spirit made this real. To the College of Education and the students of Agutayan, you believed in this vision.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽBut here's the truth, Project LANE exists because of one word spoken over and over again. Yes. Not one yes, but many from administrators, teachers, barangay officials, faculty, volunteers, and students. Every person who said yes shaped this journey.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThis is what collective action looks like. This is education with purpose.
