Last week marked another productive series of successful mediation and conciliation conferences conducted in pursuit of peaceful and fair conflict resolution.

Different sets of mediation and conciliation conferences were facilitated to address various agrarian-related concerns, resulting in several disputes being amicably settled through open communication, mutual understanding, and cooperation among concerned parties.

Makikita sa bawat matagumpay na kasunduan ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa, respeto, at maayos na pag-uusap tungo sa mapayapa at makatarungang resolusyon ng mga suliranin, na lalong nagpapatibay ng pagkakaisa sa komunidad.

The Department of Agrarian Reform remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting justice, unity, and lasting peace through effective mediation and conciliation efforts. Special thanks to our mediator, MARPO Joevelia Nayre for her dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment in facilitating peaceful settlements and fostering harmony among concerned parties throughout the different mediation conferences conducted last week.

Compliance Check for CDA Registration

Conducted yesterday, a thorough review and verification of documents of one of the associations in Pling was carried out in preparation for Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) registration.

The activity aimed to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with all required standards.

This initiative highlights the continuing effort to guide and support associations toward achieving legal recognition and strengthening their organizational foundation.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Municipal Office (DARMO) of Buug actively supported the initiatives of DAR Zamboanga Sibugay during the Regionwide Stakeholders’ Engagement and Consultation held on May 4, 2026, in Dipolog City.

The activity highlighted the distribution of electronic land titles (e-Titles) and the issuance of Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (CoCROMs) to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), granting them secured land tenure and relief from agrarian-related financial obligations.

Makikita ang tunay na ngiti ng mga ARBs habang tinatanggap nila ang kanilang e-Titles at Certificates of Condonation—isang malinaw na patunay ng tagumpay ng programa at ng panibagong pag-asa para sa mas matatag at maunlad na kinabukasan.

Through its active participation and coordination, DARMO Buug ensured the efficient delivery of these essential services, reaffirming its commitment to bringing agrarian reform programs closer to the grassroots level.

This continued collaboration reflects the shared dedication of DARMO Buug, fellow DAR Municipal Offices (DARMOs), and DAR Zamboanga Sibugay in advancing inclusive rural development and uplifting the lives of farmer-beneficiaries.

The Barangay Agrarian Reform Council (BARC) Chairperson facilitated a mediation activity involving Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) to address and resolve concerns at the barangay level. The activity aimed to promote dialogue and maintain harmony among the parties involved.

The mediation was successfully conducted, and the problem was resolved amicably.

The activity was attended by DARMO personnel: ARPT Julie Mae Tulabing Ferrer, ARPO IArt Balan and MARPO Technical Support Staff Jerich Boleros , who provided technical assistance and facilitation.

Guided by MARPO Joevelia Nayre, the BARC Chairperson was supported in ensuring the smooth conduct of the mediation in accordance with DAR procedures.

This activity reflects the continued commitment of DAR and BARC in promoting peaceful and orderly implementation of agrarian reform programs.
