Personnel ButuanCPS5 led by PEMS Ronald P Bitangcor, Patrol Supervisor under the supervision of PCPT JUN M ORILLAN, Officer In-charge, conducted mobile patrol operations and strengthened police presence in the area of responsibility.
This activity aims to ensure public safety, deter criminal activities, and provide a sense of security among residents and passersby in the barangay.

Mobile patrol is a proactive policing strategy that ensures continuous police presence, deters criminal activity, and enables immediate response to emergencies. Through regular patrols, the PNP safeguards communities, promotes public confidence, and upholds peace and order by remaining visible, alert, and accessible at all times.

MOBILE PATROL/ POLICE PRESENCE

Personnel of Butuan City Police Station 5 led by PEMS Ronald P Bitangcor, patrol supervisor under the supervision of PCPT JUN M ORILLAN, Officer In-Charge, continuously conducting relentless night mobile patrol and police presence within the AOR to enhance police visibility, deter criminal activities, and ensure the safety and security of the community.

Through regular patrols, ButuanCPS5 personnel can detect suspicious activities, address security issues at an early stage, responding promptly to incidents, and fostering stronger police-community relations.
We encourage everyone to stay vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activities to the nearest.

CHECKPOINT OPERATION

On August 14, 2026, at about 5:53PM, personnel of Butuan City Police Station 5, under the supervision of PCPT JUN M ORILLAN, Officer In-charge, conducted, conducted checkpoint at strategic area within area of responsibility to deter possible occurrence of crime while implementing traffic laws and ordinances. Further, PNP personnel advised the motorists to practice defensive driving and always adhere to traffic laws and ordinances.

On August 14, 2026, the Personnel Butuan City Police Station 5 led by PEMS Ronald P Bitangcor, patrol supervisor under the supervision of the PCPT JUN M ORILLAN, Officer In-Charge conducted mobile patrolling within the AOR of PS5, as part of the intensified anti-criminality campaign of the Philippine National Police.
The activity aimed to enhance police visibility, deter the commission of crimes, ensure public safety and security, and provide immediate police presence and response within the area of responsibility.

Personnel of Butuan City Police Station 5 (BCPS5), led by PEMS Ronald P Bitangcor, Patrol supervisor, under the supervision of PCPT JUN M ORILLAN, Officer In-Charge, conducted an Oplan Bandillo on public safety tips in Barangay Tungao, Butuan City.

The activity aimed to raise public awareness on crime prevention and encourage community participation in maintaining peace and order. Residents were provided with essential safety reminders and crime prevention measures to help protect themselves, their families, and their properties from criminal activities.
