HANDOG NG PANGULO: MILYON-MILYONG SUPORTA SA AGRIKULTURA SA ADS UG SDN | Mas napalig-on ang suporta alang sa sektor sa agrikultura sa Caraga human sa pag-turn over sa nagkadaiyang farm machinery, pasilidad, ug production inputs atol sa Handog ng Pangulo Service Caravan gahapong adlawa, Septyembre 14 sa probinsya sa Agusan del Sur ug Surigao del Norte.

Sa Agusan del Sur, gipangulohan ni DA-Caraga Regional Executive Director Engr. Ricardo Onate Jr., uban sa mga lokal nga opisyal, ang pag-turn over sa nagkadaiyang suporta ngadto sa mga benepisyaryo.

Lakip niini ang upat ka 4WD Tractors nga adunay kinatibuk-ang kantidad nga ₱3,167,400 ang giturn-over ubos sa DA-Corn Program ngadto sa Farmers Association of Langasian sa La Paz, LAMASAN Corn Cluster sa Talacogon, San Francisco Corn Cluster II sa San Francisco, ug Sta. Ines Corn Cluster sa San Luis.

Usa usab ka 4WD Tractor, nga nagkantidad og ₱1.98 milyon, ang gihatag ubos sa High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) ngadto sa Crossing Luna Beawan Esperanza Vegetable Production MPC (CROVEB MPC) sa Esperanza.

Samtang, sa Surigao del Norte, diin gipangunahan ni Engr. Claire Ilagan sa Agricultural Program Coordinating Office (APCO), gitunol ang ₱2.1 milyon nga LEED 2026 Swine Module Package 3A ngadto sa Municipal Local Government Unit of Pilar; Multi-Commodity Drying Facility nga nagkantidad og ₱298,239 ug Fermentation Facility nga nagkantidad og ₱468,188 alang sa Surigao Agri-Producers and Product Association; ug Four-Wheel Drive Tractor nga nagkantidad og ₱1.98 milyon alang sa Claver Watermelon Growers Association.

Ang mga makinarya ug pasilidad makatabang sa pagpalambo sa produksyon, mapagaan ang trabaho sa uma, ug mapalig-on ang kapasidad sa mga mag-uuma ug ilang organisasyon.

Gawas sa mga makinarya, gipaduol usab sa komunidad ang KADIWA ng Pangulo ug sa ₱20 kilo nga bugas, nga naghatag og mas accessible nga mga produkto ug baratong pagkaon alang sa mga residente.

DIGITALIZATION, MAPADALI ANG SERBISYO | Sa pagpanguna ni Undersecretary for Livestock Dante Palabrica, gilusad ang Animal Management Information System (AMIS) ug Livestock Registry System (LRS) subay sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. nga gamiton ang digitalization aron mapadali ang paghatod sa tabang ug serbisyo ngadto sa mga mag-uuma ug mag-uuma sa kahayupan.

PAGPALIG-ON SA AGRIKULTURA PINAAGI SA RESEARCH UG INOBASYON | Usa ka lakang padulong sa mas lig-on nga research ug innovation sa agriculture ug fisheries sector ang pagpirma sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) tali sa Department of Agriculture (DA) Caraga ug Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR), karong adlawa, September 15.

Gipangunahan ni Regional Executive Director Engr. Ricardo Oñate, Jr., RTD for Research and Regulations Marco Antonio Morido ug Research Chief Edilmera Luminarias ang pagpirma sa MOA, uban ang DA-BAR pinaagi sa virtual participation.

Kabahin sa kasabutan ang pag-establisar sa Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Research, Innovation, and Networking Hub, nga magsilbing regional platform alang sa research collaboration, technology development ug dissemination, capacity building, ug knowledge exchange tali sa mga research ug extension partners.

Lakip usab niini ang pagpalig-on sa Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA) Support Facility, nga nagtumong sa pagpreserba, pagdumala, ug malungtarong paggamit sa importanteng plant genetic resources nga gikinahanglan alang sa crop improvement, seed development, climate resilience, ug food security.

Gilauman nga ang mas lig-on nga koordinasyon tali sa DA, State Universities and Colleges, LGUs, farmers' cooperatives and associations, researchers, extension workers, ug pribadong sektor makatabang sa pagpalambo ug mas paspas nga paghatod sa mga teknolohiya ug inobasyon nga motubag sa panginahanglan sa mga mag-uuma ug mangingisda sa rehiyon.

Kabahin sa mga serbisyo nga gihatud sa Department of Agriculture-Caraga mao pagpanghatag sa mga basahon nga giya sa pagpananom, paghatag og mga binhi, ingon man ang pag-turn over sa nagkadaiyang agricultural machineries and equipment ngadto sa mga benepisyaryong grupo ug lokal nga panggamhanan.

Samtang midawat usab ang Vinapor Farmers and Livestock Raisers Association sa Carmen, Agusan del Norte og usa ka unit nga Farm Tractor nga nagkantidad og ₱1.98 milyon. Dugang pa, lima ka unit nga Multi-Commodity Drying Facility nga nagkantidad og kapin ₱1.4 milyon alang sa Sitio Antipolo Farmers Association of Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

Ang turn-over ceremony gipangunahan ni RTD for Operations Rebecca Atega, kauban si Jekem Sanchez, OIC sa Agricultural Program Coordinating Office (APCO) Agusan del Norte, ug uban pang mga personahe sa DA-Caraga.

Pinaagi sa maong mga intervention, gilauman nga mas mapalig-on ang kapasidad sa mga mag-uuma ug organisasyon sa produksyon, farm operations ug postharvest activities, samtang mapadayon ang paghatag og mga serbisyo ug impormasyon nga makatabang sa pagpauswag sa ilang panginabuhian.

Gipahigayon usab ang susamang kalihokan sa nagkadaiyang probinsya sa Caraga, isip kabahin sa hiniusang paghatod sa mga serbisyo sa gobyerno ngadto sa labawng nanginahanglan.
