DTI Caraga Joins 2-Day ARBO Caravan in Butuan City

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Caraga participated in the 2-day Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBO) Caravan held on January 20–21, 2026 at Dottie’s Place Hotel & Restaurant, Butuan City.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and other government partners, aimed to bring key services, market opportunities, and business support closer to agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and their organizations.

DTI provided information on its programs and services supporting enterprise development, market access, and business formalization for ARBOs and agrarian reform beneficiaries. The agency also supported the product display, helping promote locally made goods and strengthen market linkages.

DTI’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to empowering rural enterprises and promoting inclusive economic growth.

📢 DTI Agusan del Norte supports ARBO-MSMEs under DOLE-AMP!

Two ARBO-MSMEs—Manapa Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries & Community Cooperative (MARBCC) and San Isidro Upland Farmers MPC (SIUFMULCO)—have officially received project funding from DOLE Caraga under the Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP) in December 2025.

The approved projects include the installation of solar panel systems and the acquisition of a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, aligned with the 5-Point MSME Agenda, particularly on digitalization and access to sustainable financing.

✅ As of December 10, 2025, MARBCC has successfully completed the installation of its solar panels, while SIUFMULCO is scheduled to complete its installation within the month.

These projects aim to reduce electricity costs, ensure uninterrupted business operations, and improve inventory and sales management, ultimately strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of ARBO-MSMEs in Agusan del Norte.

🤝 DTI CARP Agusan del Norte remains committed to empowering ARBO-MSMEs through strategic partnerships and responsive government programs.

DAR, DTI Gear Up for Upcoming ARBO Caravan

In preparation for the ARBO Caravan spearheaded by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Caraga, the DAR and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Caraga held a Grounding and Coordination Meeting on November 11, 2025, at the DTI Caraga Regional Office.

The ARBO Caravan, set on November 25–26, 2025, at Dottie’s Place Hotel, Butuan City, aims to promote access of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries’ Organizations (ARBOs) to wider markets and enterprise opportunities.

The coordination meeting served as an important platform to align plans, harmonize strategies, and define key roles in ensuring the smooth and successful implementation of the activity. It also strengthened the collaboration between DAR and DTI in supporting ARBOs through capacity building, market linkages, and enterprise development programs.

This joint initiative underscores the shared commitment of both agencies to empower agrarian reform beneficiaries, foster inclusive growth, and promote sustainable rural development across the Caraga Region.

MARBCC Moves Closer to P3 Conduit Accreditation _____________________________________________________________________

DTI Agusan del Norte, through our Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) team, held an important consultation meeting with the Manapa Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries and Community Cooperative (MARBCC) Board of Directors last October 24, 2025, at 1 PM right at the MARBCC Office. Our coordinators, STIDS Valentina Rose O. Sagrado and TIDS Mikie D. Villanueva, along with SBC Jowenna M. Quiban of Negosyo Center (NC) Buenavista, facilitated the session. We connected the cooperative with SBCorp Desk Officer Mr. Juniel J. Paran to discuss MARBCC’s application as a P3 Conduit Partner. This is a major step toward accessing the Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso P3 Loan Program, which provides capital at a low 3% annual interest rate to help fund member-driven production and livelihood projects.

During the meeting, Mr. Paran fully oriented the cooperative on the features of the P3 Program. He recognized MARBCC's existing lending window and potential, highlighting that once accredited, the cooperative will significantly increase its capital for re-lending to members. This opportunity is highly beneficial, as MARBCC stands to earn up to 20% annual income from these operations. With the support of DTI-CARP and NC Buenavista, MARBCC has committed to completing all remaining documentary requirements by the last week of October 2025. We are dedicated to seeing this partnership succeed and bring greater economic stability to our agrarian reform beneficiaries.

The Friday Spot is Set! 📍

If you're looking for a new obsession, let me introduce you to the Emyglice Flavored Lumpia by MARBCC. This isn't your usual lumpia—it has a unique, sweet-savory flavor profile that is absolutely addictive and unlike anything I've tasted! It's quickly becoming my go-to snack.

MARBCC is one of the amazing local businesses you can find every week at the Agraryo Tabo!

Great to see the Agraryo Tabo in full swing today at the FEDARCO compound (behind SM City Butuan)!

This initiative, featuring our Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs), is a powerful example of inclusive agri-business. It doesn't just sell products; it creates a direct market link that bypasses intermediaries, ensuring our farmers gain optimal value for their hard work and innovative, value-added products.

I highly recommend visiting to not only purchase incredibly fresh goods but also to witness the entrepreneurship within our ARB communities. When you support the Tabo, you are directly investing in the sustainability and growth of rural livelihoods.

Let’s continue to build resilient and thriving agricultural communities.
