The Academic Games included 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗲, 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲, 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰, 𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗼𝗸𝘂, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀. These games are not just about thinking quickly or finishing fast, they also teach you how to manage yourself and cultivate patience.

As we celebrate this year’s Annual AMA Day, let’s take a moment to look back on the story of ACLC College of Butuan.

Did you know that ACLC College of Butuan was established in 1997 by Congressman Guillermo R. Sanchez and Helen D. Sanchez with just 150 pioneering students? The school traces its humble beginnings to Butuan Information Technology Services, Inc. (BITSI).

As part of the AMA Education System (AMAES)—one of the country’s pioneering networks in IT-based education— the ACLC College of Butuan has grown into a respected institution in the Caraga Region. Today, it proudly offers degree programs in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Business Administration (Financial Management and Marketing Management), along with TESDA-accredited technical and vocational courses. For nearly three decades, ACLC College of Butuan has remained committed to delivering quality, technology-driven education and producing globally competitive graduates.

As we honor Annual AMA Day, we also celebrate the legacy of ACLC College of Butuan from its growth, its achievements, and its continuing mission to shape future-ready graduates. Together with the entire AMA Education System, we look forward to more years of innovation, excellence, and success!
