The Office of Civil Defense Caraga Region serves as the lead government agency responsible for ensuring effective and coordinated implementation of the country’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) policies, plans, and programs in the Caraga Region. As the operating arm and secretariat of the Caraga Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC), OCD Caraga provides tec

hnical, administrative, and operational support to national government agencies, local government units (LGUs), and other stakeholders in strengthening disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts. OCD Caraga promotes a proactive and people-centered approach to disaster risk reduction by building the capacities of communities and institutions, enhancing early warning systems, supporting emergency response operations, and advancing policies that reduce disaster risks and climate change impacts. The office is committed to fostering a culture of safety, resilience, and accountability to ensure the protection of lives, livelihoods, infrastructure, and the environment across the region.

Localized Thunderstorms ang makaapekto sa rehiyon sa Caraga.

May pagka-mapanganuron ngadto sa mapanganuron nga kalangitan inubanan sa pak-ak pat-ak nga mga pag-ulan o/ug dalugdog. Posible ang kilat, pagbaha ug pagdahili sa yuta kung adunay dalugdug nga masinati sa inyong barangay.

Taas ang tsansa nga mainiton ang dagan sa panahon. Giabisuhan ang katawhan sa pagpangandam batok sa mainit nga panahon labi na sa may kaudtuhon hangtod sa kahapunon. Hinuon, posible gihapon ang nahibulag, lumalabay ug dili magdugay nga mga pag-ulan o/ug dalugdog nga pwede makaapekto sa duha o dudaghan pa’ng barangay. Giabisuhan ang katawhan nga mangandam sa posibleng pagkilat, pagbaha ug pagdahili sa yuta kung adunay dalugdog nga masinati sa inyong barangay.
