Please be informed that Comelec Butuan City will conduct a Satellite Voters Registration today, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 23, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Barangay Baan Riverside Covered Court.

Adunay ipahigayon na Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) sa atong barangay sugod karong adlawa, Enero 19 hangtod Pebrero 13, 2026. Ang programa nagtumong nga mabakunahan ang tanang bata edad 6 months hangtod 59 months aron mapanalipdan batok sa tigdas ug rubella.

Gi awhag ang tanang ginikanan nga dal-on ang ilang mga designated Vaccination Post matag purok o sa Health Center.

Ang schedule karong adlawa (Lunes): P6A, P7, ug P1

Totally Damaged: 5 houses (9 families, 28 individuals)
Partially Damaged: 4 houses (5 families, 16 individuals)

Grand Total/Final tally:

9 households
14 families
44 individuals

Thank you to all the firefighters, BFP, LGU Butuan, CSWD Department Butuan, City Councilor Atty. Please prepare ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DOCS:

For ages 0-4 years old just bring ANY of the following:

I. Immunization card
II. Brgy. Certification with the following information:

Name,Middle Name, Last name, Birth Day, Birth Place, Gender, Address

III. ORIGINAL COPY of birth certificate
IV. Baptismal certificate

The accompanying parents/guardian must bring their national ID because the registration of the child will be linked to the PhilSys Card No. Of the guardian.

For 5 years old and above present ANY of the following:

I’m here representing women not just as a survivor, but as a voice for those who are still silent.

I am a product of teenage pregnancy. I experienced violence in the very relationship I once believed was my home. For five years, I endured physical, verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse. Those were the
darkest days of my life—but they also became the fire that pushed me to stand up and say: "If I don’t end this, it will end me."

With nothing but courage and the love I have for my daughter, I enrolled in Caraga State University. I didn’t know how I would support myself. But I knew this: "If I don’t build a better life, I am also taking away my daughter’s chance for a better future."

I became a full-time mom, a working student, and a woman striving to heal her wounds while building her dreams. It wasn’t easy. But I chose hope. I chose strength. I chose education.
And in the end, I graduated from one of the most respected universities in our region—as a cm laude.

Today I stand here not because of my scars, but because of my strength. Not because of my trauma, but because of my transformation. I am living proof that just like a flower surrounded by thorns, we can all bloom in our own time.

My advocacy is born from my own experience:
"Education is a path out of violence"
It does not only fill the mind with knowledge—it builds character, courage, resilience, and the wisdom to make better choices. Education gives you a new mindset, new opportunities, and a new beginning.

This is why community leaders and government programs matter. When we strengthen access to
education—especially for young women who experience abuse—we give them a way out. We give them hope. We give them power.
Because when women are educated, empowered, and financially stable, they gain the strength to end violence in their lives. An educated woman can rebuild her future. A supported woman can reclaim her dignity. An empowered woman can break the cycle of abuse—not just for herself, but for her children.

Together, we can build a safer community.
Together, we can build a VAW-free Butuan.
Together, we can build a VAW-free Philippines.
