BRAVO BATTERY STRENGTHENS FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AWARENESS THROUGH AFPMBAI INFO DRIVE

CAMP ROMUALDO RUBI, Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City – Personnel of Bravo Battery, 4th Field Artillery Battalion (B/4FAB), led by CPT KRISTINE BETH C ABULOC (ART) PA, Officer-in-Charge, participated in an Information Drive conducted by the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Incorporated (AFPMBAI) – Butuan Branch, led by Mr. Jake D. Gelacio, at Headquarters Bravo Battery, 4FAB, AR, PA, on 02 September 2026.

The activity aimed to enhance the awareness of military personnel regarding the various services, programs, and benefits offered by the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI). During the information drive, the team of AFPMBAI discussed available financial opportunities, membership privileges, and insurance programs designed to support the financial security and well-being of uniformed personnel and their families.

The information drives equipped unit personnel with relevant knowledge to make informed decisions on financial planning and available AFPMBAI benefits. The activity concluded with personnel gaining a better understanding of the programs and services that can help strengthen their financial preparedness and provide greater security for their families.

Bravo Battery, 4FAB Marks National Reservist Week Through Lifesaving Bloodletting Activity

CAMP ROMUALDO RUBI, Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City – In line with the celebration of National Reservist Week CY 2026, troops of Bravo Battery, 4th Field Artillery Battalion (4FAB), Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army, conducted a bloodletting activity in partnership with the Caraga Regional Hospital (CRH) Blood Bank at the Covered Court of Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, on 01 September 2026.

The activity sought to help augment the available blood supply for patients in need while fostering a culture of volunteerism, compassion, and humanitarian service among military personnel, law enforcement agencies, and the civilian community.

The initiative received strong support from the residents and barangay officials of Brgy. Bancasi, personnel of Charlie Battery, 4FAB, 23rd Infantry Battalion, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), and personnel of 1st Agusan del Sur Ready Reserve Field Artillery Battery, demonstrating the spirit of unity and inter-agency cooperation in support of humanitarian endeavors.

Personnel of B/4FAB, together with partner organizations including the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI), Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI), ACDI, and Philippine Air Force Commissary and Exchange Service (PAFCPIC), likewise extended their support to the activity, further strengthening partnerships in advancing community-oriented and lifesaving initiatives.

Through this undertaking, Bravo Battery of 4FAB reaffirmed its commitment to serving the community beyond its primary mission by actively supporting humanitarian assistance, promoting volunteerism, and contributing to community development initiatives within its area of responsibility.

B/4FAB Personnel Strengthen Instructional Competencies Through Basic Instructor Training

BRGY BANCASI, Butuan City – Personnel of B/4FAB, led by CPT KRISTINE BETH C. ABULOC (ART) PA, Officer-in-Charge of Bravo Battery, successfully completed the Basic Instructor Training (BIT) conducted by the Training Design and Development Center, Training Support Group, Training Command, Philippine Army, from 24 February to 29 August 2026.

The BIT students from the unit commenced the training through a self-paced online program, which provided flexibility in learning and allowed them to accomplish and submit their academic requirements at their own pace.

For six months, the unit personnel completed various academic requirements, including face-to-face demonstrations at the 4th Division Training School (4DTS), 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army. The demonstrations were facilitated by personnel from the TDDC, TSG, and TC, led by LTC ANACLITO G. ALMOITE JR. PROF (GSC). The students demonstrated assigned subjects and were evaluated based on their instructional performance.

The training program aimed to equip participating personnel with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to effectively perform their duties as military instructors. It focused on enhancing instructional techniques, leadership development, and teaching capabilities essential to the conduct of military training and operations.

The training culminated in a closing ceremony, where LTC ERIC G. DEMA-ALA INF (GSC) PA, Commandant, 4DTS served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. He encouraged the graduates to apply the knowledge and skills they had acquired and to uphold the highest standards of leadership and excellence in their respective assignments. He likewise emphasized the critical role of military instructors in shaping future soldiers and contributing to the success of military missions.

The successful completion of the Basic Instructor Training marks another significant milestone in the unit’s continuing efforts to develop highly capable, competent, and mission-ready personnel.
