ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA โ€” As the Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program Batch 2 Phase 1 concluded its two-year run, Project Leaders from the RAISE-Caraga team demonstrated active participation during the program's Technical Review held on February 26, 2026. Spearheaded by DOST-PCAARRD, the event gathered regional RAISE program teams from across the country, including Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Central Visayas, Western Mindanao, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Caraga. Throughout the review, the RAISE-Caraga delegation stood out for their deep engagement in evaluating the programโ€™s two-year accomplishments against its initial targets and deliverables.

The Caraga Project Leaders actively participated in critical sessions designed to address the realities of program implementation. They contributed valuable regional perspectives to open discussions regarding the challenges encountered over the past two years, while collaboratively mapping out strategic future plans to sustain the region's agri-aqua innovation momentum.

Furthermore, the RAISE-Caraga team's active involvement extended into the Phase 2 proposal packaging workshop held on February 27. RAISE Caraga Joins the RAISE Summit 2025 in Tagaytay!

RAISE Project Leaders, staff, and TARA ATBI incubatees proudly represented the Caraga Region at the RAISE Summit 2025, held last October 13โ€“16 at Hotel Casiana, Tagaytay City.

With the theme โ€œRAISE ALIGN: Advancing Linkages and Impactful Growth through Networks,โ€ the summit gathered innovators, TBI managers, and regional leaders nationwide to strengthen collaboration, share best practices, and align strategies for Phase 2 implementation of the RAISE Program.

Caragaโ€™s delegation showcased local agri-aqua innovations through its TARA ATBI incubatees, who presented their products โ€” the BlackGold Nutribar and SeaScoops Danggit Ice Cream โ€” during the summitโ€™s exhibition and pitching sessions. The team also celebrated a new milestone as TARA ATBI forged a co-incubation partnership with the University of Southern Mindanao ATBI to further support startup growth and technology commercialization.

The four-day event also featured the Spinoff Policy Graduation Ceremony, recognizing regional representatives who completed the training on institutionalizing spinoff policies to enhance technology transfer and commercialization within higher education institutions.

Together, we RAISE connections, collaborations, and communities for a more innovative and inclusive future!
