Bangsamoro M***i Sheikh Abdulrauf A. Guialani will issue the formal pronouncement declaring the commencement of the holy month of Ramadhan.

Ayaw tuguti nga ang imong anak walay proteksiyon batok Tipdas ug Rubella. Siguraduhang mabakunahan siya aron maprotektahan batok sa sakit, pagka hospital, ug mapadayon ang iyang kahimsog. 💙

Magtinabangay kita aron mapalig-on ug maprotektahan ang tanang kabataan nga nag edad 6-59 ka buwan sa tibook Agusan del Norte sa sakit nga Tipdas ug Rubella!

LOOK || 👀 Courtesy Call visit of UNICEF to Provincial Health Office

On January 30,2026, a courtesy visit was conducted by representatives from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) namely Dr.Madonna Anabieza (Immunization Officer),Aly N. Balingcongan,SBC Officer,Ingrid B.Bersabe,RN,HPO II and PDOHO-ADN head Dr.Dioharra L. Aparri at Agusan del Norte Provincial Health Office.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and reaffirm UNICEF’s support for the health programs and initiatives of the local government, particularly on the ongoing Measles Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (Ligtas-Tigdas) and routine immunization.

The UNICEF and DOH delegation was warmly received by Dr.Odelio Y.Ferrer,PHO II together with Provincial NIP Coordinator, Raye Cassey B.Gabutin,RN. The meeting formally commenced with a brief introduction of participants, followed by a welcome message from Dr.Ferrer expressing appreciation for UNICEF’s continued partnership and technical assistance in advancing public health outcomes in the province/city.

The courtesy visit successfully reinforced the strong partnership between UNICEF and Provincial Health Office and served as a platform for meaningful dialogue toward achieving shared health goals.

Gisugdan karong adlawa ang kampanya sa MR-SIA sa pagpamakuna sa atong mga kabataan nga nag edad ug unom ka bulan hangtod 59 kabulan batok sa hulga sa Measles ug Rubella. Dugang ni ini, gi tagaan pod sila ug Vitamin A para sa pagpalambo sa ilang cellula, metabolismo, panan-aw ug immune functions.

Tungod sa kooperasyon sa komunidad ug sa kakugi sa mga frontline health workers, daghang mga bata ang nahatagan og "taming" batok sa sakit. Pinaagi niining maong lakang, gilauman nga mamahimong "Measles-Free" ang atong komunidad ug masalbar ang mga kabataan gikan sa mga komplikasyon nga dala niini nga mga sakit.

Alam niyo ba ang mga sintomas ng Tigdas at Rubella?
Huwag balewalain ang:
• Sipon at Ubo
• Pamumula ng mata
• Lagnat at Rashes
• Panghihina ng katawan o Kulani

Upang maiwasan ang mga ito, inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mga magulang dito sa ating Probinsya na pabakunahan ang kanilang mga batang edad 6-59 months.

📍 Saan: Sa mga itinalagang fixed at temporary vaccination posts sa inyong baranggay o komunidad.

Implementation of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity that will commence on January 19 to February 13, 2026.

Earlier today, the Agusan del Norte Provincial Health Office,convened for a preparatory meeting regarding the upcoming MR-SIA (Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity). Our teams are synchronizing efforts to ensure every child in the province is protected against vaccine- preventable diseases.

Target group for vaccination children aged 6 to 59
months. For more information please visit your nearest Primary Care Facility/ Rural Health Unit.
