The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Agusan del Norte, represented by ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐บ ๐. ๐๐ผ๐๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฎ, participated in the Culmination Activity of the ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ธ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐น (๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐) held on July 31, 2026, at the LMX Convention Center. The event marked the culmination of the city's observance of National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026, bringing together partner agencies and stakeholders in recognition of their collective efforts to strengthen disaster resilience and promote a culture of preparedness.
Throughout the month-long observance, DOST Agusan del Norte actively supported the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office's activities in celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month. As part of its contribution, the agency served as one of the members of the Board of Judges for the TALENTS for REALSilience competition, reinforcing its commitment to promoting disaster awareness, preparedness, and community resilience through collaborative initiatives.
During the culmination activity, DOST Agusan del Norte received a Plaque of Commendation in recognition of its exemplary service and valuable contributions to the CDRRMC's disaster prevention and mitigation initiatives. The award reflects the agency's unwavering commitment to advancing evidence-based strategies and fostering partnerships that empower communities to better anticipate, prepare for, and respond to disaster risks.
