WATER RATIONING SCHEDULE
(September 16, 2026)

‎Water rationing will be implemented in barangays experiencing water supply interruptions.
Each affected barangay will have designated water distribution points where water tankers will deliver and dispense water to residents.
Please note that water rationing will not be conducted on a house-to-house basis.
All times indicated in the schedule are estimates only and may be subject to change depending on actual conditions and operations.
Water rationing operations will be conducted from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM only.

WATER SUPPLY UPDATE

‎The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) informs its consumers that water supply has improved starting at around 12:00 noon today, September 14, 2026, following an increase in the volume of water being delivered by the Taguibo Aquatech Solutions Corporation (TASC).
‎
‎TASC increased its water supply to BCWD from yesterday's 40 million liters per day (MLD) to approximately 45 MLD today. With the additional 8.59 MLD being produced by BCWD's three pump stations, the total water supply reached 53.59 MLD, significantly higher than yesterday's total supply of 48.59 MLD.

‎The increase in TASC's water delivery is attributed to the rainfall recorded at the Taguibo Watershed for the last two days, which has improved the water availability in the Taguibo River—the primary source of raw water supplied by TASC to BCWD.
‎
‎The increase of water supply to 53.59 MLD will help improve water availability in barangays that have been experiencing reduced or intermittent water supply.
‎
‎BCWD welcomes this improvement in water availability and continues to closely monitor the situation in coordination with TASC. While the increased supply is expected to provide relief to affected areas, water pressure and availability may not immediately return to normal in all locations, particularly in elevated areas and areas at the far ends of the distribution system. Consumers are therefore advised that the improvement may be gradual as the increased water volume moves through the distribution network.

‎BCWD urges all consumers to continue using water wisely while supply levels remain vulnerable to ongoing drought conditions. The District will maintain close operational oversight and issue regular updates as necessary.

WATER RATIONING DROP-OFF POINTS

Water rationing will be implemented in barangays experiencing water supply interruptions.
Each affected barangay will have designated water distribution points where water tankers will deliver and dispense water to residents.
Please note that water rationing will not be conducted on a house-to-house basis.
All times indicated in the schedule are estimates only and may be subject to change depending on actual conditions and operations.
Water rationing operations will be conducted from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM only.
