Pinamanculan, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte on 30 May 2026.

The activity commenced with an energizing Zumba warm-up, followed by a trash-picking fun walk around the eco-park, bringing together personnel from various government agencies, partner organizations, and community stakeholders in a collective effort to promote environmental stewardship, health and wellness, and community engagement.

The participation of the Philippine Coast Guard in this initiative underscores its commitment not only to maritime safety and security but also to environmental protection and nation-building efforts. Likewise, it strengthened inter-agency cooperation and fostered camaraderie among participating organizations, highlighting the importance of unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility in addressing environmental concerns and building resilient communities.

Relox PCG, successfully conducted a Rubber Boat Handling Familiarization for the Barangay Officials and Barangay Tanod of Barangay Mahogany, earlier today, 26 May 2026, held at Barangay Masao, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte.

The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge, capability, and practical skills of the participants in the proper handling and operation of rubber boats during rescue operations, emergency response, and disaster-related incidents.

This initiative forms part of the Philippine Coast Guardโ€™s continuous commitment to strengthening community-based disaster preparedness and ensuring that local responders are equipped with the necessary skills and competence to effectively respond during emergencies, flooding incidents, and other maritime-related contingencies within their respective areas of responsibility.
