𝟭𝟱𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚, 𝗥𝗖𝗣𝗔 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝟳𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗣 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀

BUTUAN CITY — The 15th Regional Community Defense Group and the Reserve Command, Philippine Army proudly stood alongside reserve officers from across the nation during the opening of the 71st Reserve Officers’ Legion of the Philippines (ROLP) National Convention on May 19, 2026 in Dinagat Islands.

More than a convention, the gathering became a powerful reminder that reservists remain a vital force in nation-building—ready to lead, serve, and respond in times of need. Anchored on the theme, “United and Resilient: Empowering the Reserve Officers in AFP Modernization, Disaster Preparedness, and Civic Engagement,” the activity highlighted the unwavering dedication of the reserve force in strengthening national security, advancing community engagement, and promoting patriotism.

During the activity, Major General Ronald Jess S. Alcudia, Commander of the Reserve Command Philippine Army, delivered a message emphasizing that reservists remain an essential pillar of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in times of peace, crisis, and national emergencies. He also called on reserve officers to continue embodying patriotism, professionalism, and volunteerism, stressing that their commitment and readiness serve as a strong force multiplier in safeguarding the nation and empowering local communities.

Bound by one mission and one purpose, reserve officers continue to stand as partners of progress, defenders of the nation, and instruments of service for the Filipino people.

BUTUAN CITY — The 15th Regional Community Defense Group (15RCDG) family, led by Group Commander Colonel Jonathan P. Obena, warmly welcomed the newly assigned officers during the Pinning of Patches Ceremony held on May 14, 2026, at its Headquarters Bancasi, Butuan City.

Ltc. Danny C. Magaso and Maj. Ian Dexter M. Pablo formally joined the unit as newly assigned officers, marking another milestone in strengthening the leadership of 15RCDG in service to the reservists and ROTC cadets of Caraga Region.

During the ceremony, both officers expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and shared their commitment and expectations in further enhancing the welfare, capability, and readiness of the Reservist Caraganons.

𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗨-𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗴 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗨 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗔𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻

BUTUAN CITY – With precision and excellence, the North Eastern Mindanao State University – Tandag ROTC Unit emerged as the Champion during this year’s Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) in the Caraga Region after achieving an outstanding 97.2% overall rating.

Under the rigorous scrutiny of the inspection team from the 4th Infantry "Diamond" Division led by Colonel Rey P. Pasco, participating ROTC units showcased exceptional operational competence in administration, close order drill, tactical maneuvers, and combat support skills. Every movement reflected discipline. Every command displayed coordination. Every performance embodied the readiness expected of the nation’s future leaders.

Closely following behind, the Agusan del Sur State University ROTC Unit secured 2nd place with an impressive 96.99% overall rating, while the NEMSU - Cantilan Campus ROTC Unit earned 3rd place with a remarkable 96.92% score.

More than a competition, RAATI stands as a testament to leadership, resilience, teamwork, and patriotism–values deeply instilled in every cadet who continues to serve with honor and commitment.
