The Butuan City Jail โ€“ Male Dormitory proudly joins the observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week 2026, with the theme โ€œStrengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities,โ€ through the hanging of the official NCPW tarp within the jail facility.

This simple yet meaningful activity demonstrates BCJ-MDโ€™s support for nationwide efforts to promote crime prevention, public safety, community awareness, and collective responsibility. It also highlights the importance of strengthening partnerships among government agencies, stakeholders, and the community in preventing crime and fostering a safer environment.

Through continued participation in crime prevention initiatives, BCJ-MD reaffirms its commitment to public safety, community engagement, and collaborative efforts toward a peaceful and secure community.

Nakiisa ang Butuan City Jail โ€“ Male Dormitory sa 26th Pahinabangay ng Brigada News FM Butuan, kasama ang ibaโ€™t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, pribadong sektor, at mga katuwang na organisasyon sa isang Clean-Up Drive na isinagawa sa Capitol-Bonbon Road, Barangay Libertad, Butuan City.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos, isinagawa ang paglilinis at pag-aalis ng mga kalat sa paligid upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan, kaayusan, at kaligtasan ng komunidad. Ang aktibidad ay nagsilbing konkretong pagpapakita ng bayanihan, malasakit sa kalikasan, at responsableng pakikilahok sa komunidad.

Sa pakikilahok ng BCJ-MD, patuloy nitong isinusulong ang community engagement at environmental responsibility, bilang katuwang sa pagbuo ng mas malinis, mas ligtas, at mas maayos na Butuan City.

Bilang bahagi ng Public Safety Youth Ambassador Workshop and Awareness Program, nagsagawa ang Butuan City Jail โ€“ Male Dormitory, katuwang ang Bureau of Fire Protection Libertad Sub-Station, ng isang awareness activity para sa mga Grade 12 students ng Lumbocan National High School.

Tampok sa programa ang BJMP Awareness, kung saan ibinahagi sa mga mag-aaral ang mandato, tungkulin, mga programa, at serbisyo ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. Binigyang-diin din ang papel ng BJMP sa custodial management, rehabilitation, values formation, at paghahanda sa mga PDL para sa kanilang positibong pagbabalik sa pamilya at komunidad.

Kasabay nito, isinagawa ang Fire Safety Awareness sa pangunguna ng BFP Libertad Sub-Station, na naglalayong dagdagan ang kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa fire prevention, emergency preparedness, at wastong pagtugon sa insidente ng sunog.

Sa pamamagitan ng interactive discussions at pagbabahagi ng mahahalagang impormasyon, hinikayat ang mga kabataan na maging mapanagutan, disiplinado, alerto, at aktibong katuwang sa pagpapanatili ng kaligtasan sa paaralan, tahanan, at komunidad.

Ang aktibidad ay nagpapakita ng patuloy na pakikipagtulungan ng BCJ-MD, BFP, at mga institusyong pang-edukasyon sa paghubog ng kabataang may sapat na kaalaman, tamang pagpapasya, at malasakit sa kapwaโ€”mga katangiang mahalaga sa pagbuo ng isang ligtas, mapayapa, at responsableng komunidad.

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsusulong ng rehabilitasyon, values formation, at crime prevention, naging katuwang ang Butuan City Jail โ€“ Male Dormitory (BCJ-MD) sa isinagawang jail visit ng mga Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) na nasa ilalim ng pangangalaga at pangangasiwa ng Bahay Pag-asa Agusan del Norte, sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.

Sa pamamagitan ng nasabing pagbisita, nabigyan ang mga CICL ng pagkakataong magkaroon ng mas malalim na pag-unawa sa mga realidad, hamon, at responsibilidad na kaakibat ng pagkakakulong, gayundin sa kahalagahan ng paggawa ng tama at responsableng desisyon. Naging makabuluhan ang aktibidad sa pamamagitan ng pagbabahagi ng mga kawani ng BCJ-MD at mga PDL ng kanilang mga karanasan, pananaw, at mahahalagang aral na maaaring magsilbing gabay sa mga kabataan.

Binigyang-diin sa pakikipag-ugnayan ang kahalagahan ng disiplina, pananagutan, pagsunod sa batas, at positibong pagbabago. Ang mga testimonya ng mga PDL ay nagsilbing konkretong paalala sa mga CICL na ang maling desisyon ay maaaring magkaroon ng malalim na epekto sa kanilang sarili, pamilya, at kinabukasan.

Higit pa sa pagpapanatili ng seguridad at kaayusan, ipinakita ng BCJ-MD ang mahalagang papel nito sa rehabilitation support, character formation, at prevention-oriented initiatives sa pamamagitan ng pagbabahagi ng mga aral mula sa loob ng correctional environment.

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng BCJ-MD at Bahay Pag-asa Agusan del Norte, ang aktibidad ay nagsilbing tulay upang maitaguyod ang mensahe na ang pagkakamali ay maaaring maging aral, ang pagbabago ay laging posible, at ang bawat kabataan ay may pagkakataong pumili ng mas mabuting direksyon para sa kanilang kinabukasan.

๐Ÿค SERBISYO CARAVAN SA PIITAN 2026

Sa ilalim ng patnubay ni City Jail Warden JCINSP DIOVIN C. AUZA, isinagawa ng Welfare and Development Unit ng Butuan City Jail โ€“ Male Dormitory ang โ€œSerbisyo Caravan sa Piitan 2026โ€ sa pakikipagtulungan ng PhilHealth Butuan, Persons with Disability Affairs Office Butuan, Integrated Bar of the Philippines , Public Attorneyโ€™s Office , at iba pang kaugnay na tanggapan.

Sa naturang programa, nagkaloob ang PhilHealth Butuan ng orientation hinggil sa mga programa at benepisyo nito, gayundin ang PhilHealth IDs para sa mga kwalipikadong PDL. Samantala, nagbigay naman ang PDAO Butuan ng impormasyon tungkol sa mga karapatan at benepisyo ng Persons with Disability (PWD) at nagproseso ng PWD IDs para sa mga kwalipikadong PDL.

Naghatid din ang IBP at PAO ng libreng legal consultation, kung saan nabigyan ang mga PDL ng pagkakataong maipahayag ang kanilang mga legal na concern at makatanggap ng kaukulang payo at gabay.

Sa kabuuan, 250 PDL ang nakilahok at nakinabang sa ibaโ€™t ibang serbisyong hatid ng mga katuwang na tanggapan. Naging maayos at organisado ang programa sa pamamagitan ng buong kooperasyon ng mga PDL at jail personnel.

Ang Serbisyo Caravan sa Piitan 2026 ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsusulong ng makatao, inklusibo, at rights-based na serbisyo, kung saan ang access sa kalusugan, legal na tulong, at mga benepisyo ng pamahalaan ay naihahatid maging sa loob ng custodial facility.

Serbisyo para sa lahat. Karapatan para sa bawat isa. ๐Ÿ’™
