𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The PNCO and PCO Promotion Board Interviews were successfully conducted on May 18 and 20, 2026, at Camp Rafael Rodriguez, Police Regional Office 13. Serving as panelist were NAPOLCOM Representatives Atty. Jennifer Hazel A. Racaza-Patete, Chaiperson, Regional Appellate Board 13 for the PCO Promotion Board and Atty. Luis Jude Rey B. Sy, Chief, Technical Services Division for the PNCO Promotion Board (Bravo).

The activity served as an avenue for assessing the qualifications, leadership potential, and readiness of police officers aspiring for higher ranks, ensuring that promotions are anchored on integrity, performance, and dedication to public service.

NAPOLCOM RO13 remains committed in supporting a transparent and credible police promotion system that strengthens the capability of the Police Regional Office 13 in serving and protecting the caraganon community.

Gil, Regional Director of NAPOLCOM Regional Office 13, awards a cheque to the spouse/beneficiary of a police officer whose death has been duly established and/or determined as being service-connected. With Director Gil are Atty. Jennifer Hazel A. Racaza-Patete, Chairperson, Police Regional Appellate Board 13, Ms. Honey Pearl R. Respuesto, AO V/Budget Officer III, and Ms. Charissa O. Suarez, Administrative Officer III.

The administration/grant of Total Permanent Physical Disability (TPPD) and death benefits to police officers who are incapacitated or killed/died in the line of duty is one of the programs of NAPOLCOM that aims to improve the welfare of uniformed members of the PNP.

LOOK: The NAPOLCOM Regional Office 13, headed by Dir. Josephmar B. Gil, CESO IV, Regional Director of NAPOLCOM 13 Caraga, conducted a half-day orientation/re-orientation on the Community and Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) for the Local Chief Executives, Chiefs of Police, and ABC Presidents of Surigao del Sur and Dinagat Islands on May 6 and 20, 2026, respectively.

The virtual activity was done in preparation for the MOA signing among the three key actors of the CSOP system namely, the Police, the Local Chief Executive and the community. It featured discussions on the Participation of the LCEs in the Administration of the Philippine National Police by Atty. Erlina Susan L. Lorea, Assistant Regional Director and the CSOP System by Atty. Aimee Flor A. Lauro, Chief of Regional Investigation Unit of NAPOLCOM Caraga.

The webinar emphasized the importance of strengthening community partnerships, enhancing local policing strategies, and fostering cooperation between law enforcement agencies, local government units, and community stakeholders toward safer and more responsive communities.

The orientation/re-orientation will continue this June 2026 for the remaining provinces of Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, and Butuan City which will culminate with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with all the cities and municipalities in the region in July 2026 as part of the program of activities for the 2026 PCR month celebration.
