MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, BARANGAY OBRERO YOUTH!

Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 was officially and successfully concluded last August 2, 2026!

From friendly competition to life-saving skills, here is how we made this year’s celebration unforgettable:

Day 1: Play & Passion
The youth of Barangay Obrero brought their full energy to the court, board, and screen! Everyone enjoyably participated in the ML Tournament, Poster-Slogan Contest, Quiz Bee, Laro ng Lahi, and Special Games for Kids.

Day 2: Purpose & Progress
On our final day, we focused on practical skills and crucial advocacy. We conducted a hands-on First Aid Training alongside vital symposiums on Teenage Pregnancy Awareness, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Environmental Protection, and the SOGIE Bill.

To all the young people who joined, cheered, and learned with us—DAGHANG SALAMAT! The SK Council is deeply grateful for your continuous support and participation.

Earlier this morning, July 11, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Obrero, in active partnership with the Barangay Council, CSWD, PNP, and Purok-8 Officers, successfully conducted the 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓!

🏳️‍🌈✨ What a night to remember! ✨🏳️‍🌈

Last night, June 26, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Obrero successfully celebrated Pride Month and Youth Night 2026!

3 of our local aspiring Drag Queens rocked the stage alongside 2 fabulous queens from The House of Mystique!

We proudly awarded Certificates of Appreciation to our dedicated Purok Youth Officers and recognized our amazing Youth Volunteers for their incredible contributions to the community.

We wrapped up the successful night by distributing school supplies to our students from elementary to college!

THANK YOU to all our Youth Volunteers and the entire Obrero Youth for your consistent, unwavering support for the Sangguniang Kabataan. This success is yours! ❤️✊🎉
