The decision was rendered and was successfully executed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗚. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲-𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧 with the release of the judgment award to the employee amounting to ₱𝟭𝟴,𝟱𝟮𝟱.𝟵𝟭.

The judgment award was promptly released by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗦. 𝗔𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙑 to the employee after LA Vegafria issued an order for its release in accordance with 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗟𝗥𝗖 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲.

𝑰𝑪𝒀𝑴𝑰: The NLRC Regional Arbitration Branch XIII facilitated the amicable settlement of a labor case filed by skilled workers against their employer in the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 on August 27, 2026.

The case was originally decided by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘁, then 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧. It was subsequently transferred to 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗚. 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮, then 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧, who issued the Writ of Ex*****on. Thereafter, the case was transferred to 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗔. 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘇, 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧, who facilitated the settlement and supervised the final satisfaction of the judgment award.

Through the intervention and facilitation of ELA Ortiz, the parties successfully reached an amicable settlement. The Complainants voluntarily accepted the amount of ₱𝟕,𝟒𝟔𝟐.𝟒𝟓 from the Respondent in full satisfaction of the judgment award. They thereafter executed a Receipt and Quitclaim, formally evidencing the settlement and full satisfaction of their claims.

Consequently, ELA Ortiz issued an Order dismissing the case and directing its closure and termination, bringing the long-pending labor dispute to a final, amicable, and mutually accepted resolution.

Assisting ELA Ortiz and the Complainants throughout the settlement proceedings were 𝗝𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗣. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗷𝗮𝗿, 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙑; 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗠. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗼, 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙄; and 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝙖 𝘼. 𝘼𝙙𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣.

On August 26, 2026, the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗫𝗜𝗜𝗜 (𝗡𝗟𝗥𝗖-𝗥𝗔𝗕 𝗫𝗜𝗜𝗜) conducted its Qualifying Examinations for key administrative positions, upholding its commitment to excellence, merit, and professionalism in public service.

Held at the SEnA Room, the examinations formed part of a rigorous selection process designed to identify the most qualified individuals who can effectively support the Commission’s mandate of delivering fair, timely, and expeditious labor justice.

The level of competition was particularly notable. For the position of 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝙄 (𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙄), a total of 𝟭𝟱𝟭 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 were received, but only 𝟲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 successfully met the qualifications to proceed to the examination. Meanwhile, the 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙑𝙄 (𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙠 𝙄𝙄𝙄) position attracted 𝟭𝟰𝟴 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, of whom only 𝟭𝟰 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 qualified for the testing phase.

These numbers reflect the stringent standards observed throughout the recruitment process, and underscore that earning a place in the examination room is already an achievement in itself.

The examinations were conducted in two sessions to ensure a focused, orderly, and standardized assessment for all qualified candidates. The morning session, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN, was dedicated to the 14 candidates for Administrative Aide VI (Clerk III), while the afternoon session, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, was allotted to the 6 candidates for Administrative Officer I (Cashier I).

Through this rigorous and merit-based process, NLRC-RAB XIII continues to uphold excellence in public service, building a workforce of competent, dedicated, and service-oriented professionals committed to advancing labor justice.

The case was resolved through a walk-in settlement facilitated by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐀. 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐳, 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧. The Complainant voluntarily accepted the settlement amount of ₱𝟏𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎, representing the refund of placement fee, medical payment, and other expenses, from the Respondent’s authorized representative.

𝘼𝙎 𝙎𝙀𝙀𝙉 | The NLRC Regional Arbitration Branch XIII through its SEnA officer facilitated the settlement of a possible labor case filed by two employees from the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 yesterday, August 25, 2026.
