𝙄𝘾𝙔𝙈𝙄 | The Regional Arbitration Branch XIII, National Labor Relations Commission released the judgment award of the labor case filed by the employee from the 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 on September 29, 2026.

BUTUAN CITY, CARAGA — In its continuing commitment to strengthening its workforce and ensuring the efficient delivery of labor justice, the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗫𝗜𝗜𝗜 (𝗡𝗟𝗥𝗖-𝗥𝗔𝗕 𝗫𝗜𝗜𝗜) conducted the panel interview for the position of 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙑 (𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙄𝙄) on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The selection process was undertaken through a competitive and merit-based procedure aimed at identifying qualified personnel who can effectively support the Branch in the administration of labor justice.

A total of seven (7) applicants initially submitted complete application requirements and underwent the screening process. Following a qualifying examination designed to assess their technical knowledge and stenographic proficiency, three (3) applicants qualified for the next stage of the selection process.

After evaluation of their qualifications and examination results, two (2) applicants were shortlisted and proceeded to the final panel interview.

During the interview, the two finalists were assessed by a panel of NLRC-RAB XIII officials on their communication skills, analytical ability, professional demeanor, and overall suitability for the position.

The 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙑 (𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙄𝙄𝙄) performs an essential function in the operations of the NLRC. The position involves accurately recording and transcribing proceedings during arbitration hearings, providing Labor Arbiters with reliable documentation of testimonies and other matters necessary in the resolution of labor disputes.

The conduct of the panel interview marks another step in the Branch’s ongoing recruitment process, underscoring NLRC-RAB XIII’s commitment to merit and fitness, transparency, and excellence in public service.

This September 28, 2026 (Monday), let’s make time for what matters most—family. ❤️

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 136, s. 2026, work in agencies and instrumentalities of the National Government, including GOCCs and State Universities and Colleges, shall be suspended beginning at 1:00 P.M.

The suspension is part of the observance of the 34th National Family Week and Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day, giving families an opportunity to share a meal, spend quality time together, and celebrate the importance of family.

ICYMI | NLRC-RAB XIII Facilitates Amicable Settlement of Labor Case

The National Labor Relations Commission – Regional Arbitration Branch XIII (NLRC-RAB XIII) facilitated the amicable settlement of a labor case filed by a complainant against his employer from the Manufacturing Industry on 23 September 2026.

The case was resolved through a settlement facilitated by Hon. Rotela Fatima A. Ortiz, Executive Labor Arbiter, during which the Complainant voluntarily accepted ₱6,562.31 from the Respondent’s authorized representative as payment for his last salary and 13th-month pay.

Following the settlement, the Complainant executed a Receipt and Quitclaim and an Affidavit of Withdrawal, formally signifying the parties’ amicable resolution of the dispute. Consequently, ELA Ortiz issued an Order dismissing the case with prejudice.

Assisting ELA Ortiz and the parties throughout the settlement proceedings were Jurey P. Mondejar, Administrative Officer IV; Ronald Cesar M. Claro, Administrative Assistant I; and Trishia Mea A. Adobas, Intern.

Through accessible and responsive settlement mechanisms, NLRC-RAB XIII continues to promote the peaceful and expeditious resolution of labor disputes, bringing labor justice closer to the people.

The activity brought together the personnel of NLRC-RAB XIII in affirming their shared commitment to the Filipino people, anchored on this year’s theme:
