The 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚 (𝘼𝘾𝙍𝘼𝘿𝙉), headed by its President, 𝘈𝘊𝘊𝘙 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘰 𝘈. 𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘻 𝘑𝘳. 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺, successfully conducted the 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮-𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 (𝘾𝙍𝙑𝙎) 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 on September 1–3, 2026, at Camiguin Highland Resort, Mambajao, Camiguin.

With more than 300 guests and participants in attendance, the three-day activity became a meaningful gathering of civil registrars, stakeholders, partner agencies, and professionals who share a common commitment to strengthening the civil registration and vital statistics system.

The training brought together the City and Municipal Civil Registrars of Agusan del Norte, together with stakeholders and partner agencies, for discussions, knowledge-sharing, and the exchange of experiences and best practices in civil registration and vital statistics.

The activity was also made more meaningful through the presence and valuable contributions of our resource persons and partners, Mr. Sir Ryan Anthony Amad – PSA Central Office, Ms. Dianalou D. Talamo – PSA Agusan del Norte, Ms. Crystal Jeanne G. Pastrana, Philsys-FP - PSA Agusan del Norte, Ms. Bernadeth I. Bonachita – PSA RSSO XIII, Ms. Katherine A. Labiano – MLGOO VII / Cluster Head, DILG Camiguin, Ms. Evelyn Pocon – representing the Municipal Civil Registrar of Mambajao.

The ACRADN delegation also had the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙔ñ𝙞𝙜𝙤 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 “𝙔𝙜𝙜𝙮” 𝘿. 𝙍𝙤𝙢𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤, 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙟𝙖𝙤, who warmly welcomed the association and its participants to his beautiful municipality.

Beyond the presentations and learning sessions, the activity provided an opportunity to connect, share experiences, strengthen professional relationships, and learn from one another.

It was a celebration of the people behind civil registration, those working every day to ensure that every registration is accurate, complete, timely, and accessible to the communities we serve.

A heartfelt thank you to our resource persons, partner agencies, City and Municipal Civil Registrars, participants, guests, and the entire ACRADN team who contributed to making this three-day activity a success.

Suspendido ang klase ugma, September 4, 2026 sa tanang lebel sa pampubliko ug pribadong tunghaan sa Butuan City tungod sa nasinating haze nga naka apekto sa dakbayan.

Giawhag ang mga eskwelahan nga magpatuman og asynchronous o synchronous learning aron magpadayon ang pagkat-on bisan suspended ang face to face classes.

Ang suspension gihimo isip precautionary measure aron malikayan ang dugay nga exposure sa haze.

Base sa latest situational report sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau, ang na obserbahang haze resulta sa nagpadayong sunog sa Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Gi-validate sa City Government of Butuan kagahapong adlawa ang mga posibleng alternatibong ruta nga mahimong ikonsiderar panahon sa rehabilitation sa Magsaysay Bridge.

Kabahin kini sa pagpangandam sa pagsugod sa rehabilitation project sa Department of Public Works and Highways Region XIII nga magsugod sa September 16, 2026.

Atol sa validation, gisusi ang pipila ka posibleng agianan nga mahimong ikonsiderar aron matabangan ang pag-manage sa trapiko samtang adunay gitrabaho sa Magsaysay Bridge.

Lakip sa mga lugar nga gi-check ang mga ruta gikan Ampayon padulong sa Crossing Tiniwisan, Diversion Road, Macapagal Bridge, Barangay Mahay, Baan KM3-Amamaylan Road, Barangay Buhangin ug uban pang posibleng agianan.

Gisusi usab ang kondisyon sa mga dalan ug ang ilang kapasidad nga mahimong gamiton isip alternatibong ruta.

Ang City Government of Butuan magpagawas og opisyal nga advisory kung final na ang mga ruta ug traffic arrangement para sa rehabilitation.

: As part of their commitment to provide effective and inclusive customer service, the City Civil Registry Department of the City Government of Butuan conducted a learning session on Basic Gender and Development (GAD) Concepts, Gender-Fair Language and a Workshop on Non-Violent Communication on August 19, 2026 at the City Hall Building, Butuan City, where the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Caraga, through its Promotion and Advocacy Division, served as the resources speakers.

These sessions form part of the gender sensitivity training where state actors under the basic concepts and principles of gender and development and gender equality, which the State is mandated to uphold as provided by the Republic Act No. 9710 or the Magna Carta of Women.

The City Civil Registry Department (CCRD) is conducting its Mid-Year Assessment 2026 today, August 20, 2026 at the PH Conference Room, 4/F City Hall Building, Butuan City.

The assessment focuses on reviewing the Department’s accomplishments, ongoing programs and activities, challenges encountered, and strategies moving forward for the remaining months of the year.

Part of today’s activity is the recognition and awarding of deserving personnel for their outstanding performance, dedication, commitment, and valuable contributions to the Department.

The City Civil Registry Department (CCRD) continues to strengthen Gender and Development (GAD) sensitivity through a learning session on Gender-Fair Language and Non-Violent Communication.

The session highlighted the importance of being mindful of our words and actions, recognizing gender-related concerns, and fostering communication grounded in respect, empathy, equality, and inclusivity.

Enriched by the insightful discussions of Ms. Doreen Marielle N. Rosales, Information Officer II of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Caraga, who served as the resource speaker for the morning session, and Ms. Sheamin Lae C. Dogmoc, Information Officer I of CHR Caraga, who facilitated the afternoon session.

Through GAD-sensitive communication, we help build a workplace where every person is respected, heard, valued, and treated with dignity.

The City Civil Registry Department (CCRD) is one of the City Government of Butuan offices participating in the Junior City Officials Program 2026.

At CCRD, we proudly welcomed our Junior CCRD Head, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗱𝘆𝘀 𝗖. 𝗨𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻, a 2nd-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology at Asian College Foundation, Butuan City.

During her immersion, Ms. Ubanan gained firsthand experience of the Department’s operations and learned about the vital role of civil registration and vital statistics in serving every Butuanon.

𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 || 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐍𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝

As part of the month-long celebration of the 76th Adlaw Hong Butuan, the City Government of Butuan successfully celebrated Kinasalay Ngani Butuan on August 14, 2026 at The Pavilion, Watergate, Butuan City bringing together 50 couples in a meaningful celebration of love, family, and commitment solemnized by the Hon. City Mayor Atty. Lawrence Lemuel H. Fortun as solemnizing officer.

Among the 50 couples were seven (7) couples from our Indigenous People (IPs) community in Barangay Anticala, a testament to our commitment to inclusive governance, where every Butuanon is seen, valued, and given the opportunity to benefit from government programs and services.

The celebration became even more meaningful, as right after the wedding, we witnessed the 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙉𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝘽𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, a significant step toward institutionalizing this initiative and ensuring that its purpose and spirit will continue to serve Butuanon families.

More importantly, the ordinance goes beyond the celebration of marriage. It provides for the free legitimation of qualified children of the beneficiaries of Kinasalay Ngani Butuan and previous Mass Wedding programs, helping ensure that eligible children can have their legal status properly recognized without the financial burden of the process.

From celebrating 50 love stories to strengthening a program rooted in inclusive governance, Kinasalay Ngani Butuan is more than a wedding, it is a celebration of a government that reaches its people.

Because in Butuan, no Butuanon should be left behind.

Congratulations to our 50 newlyweds! May your journey together be filled with love, understanding, and a lifetime of beautiful beginnings.
