Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office -----Police Personnel of Cabadbaran Component City Police Station (lead unit) together with operatives of the Agusan del Norte Provincial Intelligence Unit (ADNPIU); Provincial Intelligence Team-Agusan del Norte (PIT-ADN); and Regional Intelligence Unit 13 (RIU-13) successfully arrested a top-ranked Most Wanted Person in Brgy. 9, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte on September 1, 2026.
The accused is listed as Regional Level Top 10, Provincial Level Top 5, and City Level Top 1 Most Wanted Person.
PCOL RUEL M CAGAPE, Provincial Director of Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office, identified the arrested accused as alias โSheldon", 31 years old, male, married, a public teacher, and a resident of Brgy. Calibunan, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte.
The accused has ten (10) Warrants of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 34, Cabadbaran City, covering multiple criminal cases with a total bail amounting to Three Million Three Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Pesos (Php3,392,000.00).
Details of Warrants of Arrest were as follows:
1. Five counts of Acts of Lasciviousness Under Art. 336 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Sec.5 (B) if RA No. 7610 docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-267 and CR-2026-274 to CR-2026-277 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00) for each count, with a total bail of Five Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos (Php540,000.00) dated June 24, 2026;
2. Seven counts of Section 5 (B) of RA 7610 for Violation of Art. 366 of the RPC as Amended docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-266 and CR-2026-268 to CR-2026-273 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00) for each count, with a total bail of Seven Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Pesos (Php756,000.00), dated June 24, 2026;
3. Five counts of Acts of Lasciviousness Under Art. 336 of the RPC in relation to Section 5 (B) of RA No. 7610 docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-283 to CR-2026-287 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00) for each count, with a total bail of Five Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos (Php540,000.00) dated July 9, 2026;
4. Four counts for Violation of Section 5 (B) of RA 7610 docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-301 to CR-2026-304 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00) dated July 22, 2026;
5. Four counts of R**e by Sexual Assault Under Article 266-B of the RPC docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-297 to CR-2026-300 with bail bond of One Hundred Twenty Pesos (Php120,000.00) for each count with a total bail of Four Hundred Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php480,000.00) dated July 22, 2026;
6. Four counts of Acts of Lasciviousness in Relation to RA 7610 Under Article 366 of the RPC, docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-319 to CR-2026-320 and CR-2026-323 to CR-2026-324 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00) for each count, with a total bail of Four Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Pesos (Php432,000.00) dated July 30, 2026;
7. Unjust Vexation Under Article 287 of the RPC, as Amended, docketed as Criminal Case No. CR-2026-321 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00), dated July 30, 2026;
8. Sexual Assault Under Article 266-A (2) of the RPC, as amended in Relation to Section 5 (B) of RA 7610, docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-322 with bail bond of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php120,000.00) dated July 30, 2026;
9. Five counts of Sexual Assault in Relation to RA 7610 Under Article 266-A (2) of the Revised Penal Code, as Amended in Relation to Section B, docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-309 to CR-2026-313 with bail bond of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php200,000.00) dated August 3, 2026;
10. Three counts of Acts of Lasciviousness in Relation to RA 7610 Under Article 366 of the RPC, docketed as Criminal Case Nos. CR-2026-314 to CR-2026-316 dated August 3, 2026; and j. CR-2026-314 to CR-2026-316 with bail bond of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (Php108,000.00) dated August 3, 2026.
All ten (10) Warrants of Arrest were issued by Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 34, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, on their respective dates indicated above. The total bail for all WOA amounts to Three Million Three Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Pesos (Php3,392,000.00).
The arrested person was informed of his constitutional rights in a dialect/language known to him and is now under the custody of aforementioned Police Station for proper disposition, while copies of all WOA will be returned to the issuing court.
