Nakiisa ang mga opisyal at kawani ng Busuanga Municipal Health Office (MHO) sa isinagawang Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapaigting ng kahandaan sa harap ng mga sakuna.

Sa pangunguna ng Civil Defense PH, layunin ng NSED na masukat at mapalakas ang kahandaan ng mga pampubliko at pribadong sektor sa pagtugon sa lindol at iba pang sitwasyong pang-emergency.

Sa pamamagitan ng regular na pagsasagawa ng mga earthquake drill, higit na napauunlad ang kaalaman, koordinasyon, at kakayahan ng bawat isa sa pagtugon sa mga sakuna. Ang aktibong pakikilahok sa mga ganitong pagsasanay ay mahalagang hakbang sa pagpapatibay ng kultura ng kahandaan at pagbuo ng mas ligtas, mas matatag, at mas handang bansa.
