BKD in ACTION!

Congratulations to the BKD Club, in collaboration with ESP club, for a successful and job well done symposium entitled "ATE at KUYA: NAGMAMALASAKIT SA BAWAT ISA KONTRA DROGA", held on November 25, 2022.

We are very grateful to have as our resource speaker, PCpl. Ryan S. Ubaldo, Community Relations Officer of Bustos Municipal Police Station, for sharing us a comprehensive and informative knowledge on illegal drugs and abuse.

Special thanks to our hardworking Head Teacher III in Science, Ma'am Shayne DG. Siket, for guiding us in the success of this event.

And most especially, to our school principal, Ma'am Brenda'Lea A. Caranto, who is always been very supportive in all the activities of the club.

To the students who are very active and participative in this symposium, a huge clap to all.

Indeed, DPVMSHS really screams "SAY NO TO ILLEGAL DRUGS!!!"

"Gateway drugs are introductory substances that can be explored and purchased easily and is acceptable in the society. These substances are habit forming and may lead a non drug user to try a more severe and illegal substance to later satisfy their curiosity or cravings."

Barkada Kontra Droga is a peer group organized to provide and support school activities that promote awareness and intervention to drug abuse and its related issues. This group also supports the projects of the community and its local government with the same objective. This organization is supported by the students, teachers, school administrators, barangay council, local government unit, private institutions and other identified stakeholders.
