Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Ordinance No. 02-2006 (Rabies Control Ordinance) and in line with the Local Government's commitment to ensuring a safety and healthy environment, this directive is hereby issued to remind all households and establishments to strictly observe basic sanitation practices, including the "A*o Mo, Itali Mo" initiatives.

Strict enforcement measures, including penalties for non-compliance shall be implemented as necessary.

The Municipality of Burgos, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), convened the Search for the Most Eco-Friendly Barangay Implementer for CY 2024 from November 6-7 and 14, 2024. This initiative is a key activity of MENRO, aimed at promoting sustainable practices, particularly in solid waste management, and increasing environmental awareness across the municipality.

We acknowledge and deeply appreciate the active participation of all 12 barangays in this meaningful endeavor. Their commitment in supporting and implementing eco-friendly practices, especially in waste management and innovative environmental projects, exemplifies their dedication to creating a cleaner, greener, sustainable and more environmentally conscious municipality.
