The Burauen Municipal Station is requesting the public’s assistance regarding a lost bird reportedly missing in the area of Brgy. Caluctogan Dagami, Leyte.
Description: Indian Ringneck Parrot Bird
Last Seen: August 21, 2026 at Brgy. Caluctogan Dagami, Leyte
If anyone has purchased, found, or taken possession of the said bird without the necessary permit or credentials, the owner is willing to settle the matter amicably and requests that the bird be returned.
Likewise, anyone who can provide reliable information regarding the whereabouts of the bird may contact the owner or the nearest police station. The owner is also willing to provide a token of appreciation for information that may lead to the recovery of the bird.

Personnel of Burauen Municipal Police Station under the supervision of PLTCOL ALAN T CAMASIN, COP, conducted an Oplan Bandilyo to disseminate information on the Rules and Regulations directed by the DILG Secretary, S.A.F.E. Eastern Visayas 911, r**e awareness, and anti-bullying awareness.

The activity served as an effective platform to educate the public on important safety and security concerns, raise awareness on crime prevention measures, and encourage active community participation in maintaining peace and order.

Through this initiative, the Philippine National Police continues to strengthen its proactive approach in protecting lives and property, promoting public safety, and fostering a safer and more secure community for all.

Personnel of Burauen Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the supervision of PLTCOL ALAN T CAMASIN, Chief of Police, conducted a dialogue/pulong-pulong on the implementation of rules and regulation as directed by the DILG Secretary, The activity also covered on SAFE EV 911, r**e awareness, and anti-bullying awareness.

The activity aimed to enhance public awareness and promote community participation in maintaining peace and order through the dissemination of information. Also discussed about Anti-Terrorism Awareness, RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004), RA 11313 (Safe Spaces Act), the Anti-Rape Law, ELCAC, Anti-Illegal Gambling Campaign, Car and Motorcycle Anti-Carnapping Safety Tips, and Anti-Cybercrime Safety Tips.
Likewise, the criminology interns of Burauen Communi ty College (BCC), were encouraged immediately to report crimes, emergencies, and other public safety concerns through the Burauen MPS Hotline Number and the S. A. F. E. Eastern Visayas 911 Emergency Hotline.

Through this initiative, Burauen MPS continues to strengthen police-community relations, empower citizens through information and education, and foster a safer, more secure, and resilient community.
