At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "BASYANG" {PENHA} was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte (9.4°N, 125.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 90 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 25 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm "ADA" {NOKAEN} was estimated based on all available data at 400 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (10.3°N, 129.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving Northwestward at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

It is moving Northwestward at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

LGU Burauen 1st Earthquake Drill of 2026

The LPA we are monitoring has developed into a Tropical Depression, located about 590 km east-southeast of General Luna, Siargao Island. It is moving north-northwest (NNW) at a speed of 10 kph, with maximum sustained winds of up to 55 kph and gusts reaching 83 kph.
It is expected to further intensify and become a Tropical Storm within the next 12 hours. As of now, it is not expected to make landfall in any part of the Philippines; however, unsettled weather is expected over Northeastern Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and the Bicol Region, including Quezon.
