Today marks a historic and meaningful milestone as the Municipality of Amai Manabilang is now officially declared a ๐ƒ๐‘๐”๐†-๐‚๐‹๐„๐€๐‘๐„๐ƒ ๐Œ๐”๐๐ˆ๐‚๐ˆ๐๐€๐‹๐ˆ๐“๐˜ by the Regional Oversight Committee.

With this achievement, Amai Manabilang proudly stands among the first few municipalities in the Province of Lanao del Sur to attain such a prestigious distinction โ€” a reflection of the municipalityโ€™s strong commitment to peace, public safety, and good governance.

Farmers in Barangay Mansilano are taking a significant step toward inland fisheries development as the Upper Mansilano Bangsamoro Farmers Producers Cooperative continues the renovation of its fishpond in preparation for the installation of a Solar Water Pump provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) โ€“ Lanao del Sur Provincial Office.

The assistance was facilitated through the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Khalid D. Ansano and the Fisheries Division headed by Chief Al Nizar G. Dimaporo, aimed at strengthening aquaculture initiatives and supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities in the community.

The project is being carried out in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Amai Manabilang under the leadership of Mayor Hon. Saidamen Leo E. Manabilang, highlighting the strong collaboration between government agencies and local stakeholders.

Local officials and cooperative members emphasized that the initiative reflects the spirit of bayanihan, as community members work together to improve the fishpond facility and expand livelihood opportunities for farmers and fisherfolk in Barangay Mansilano.

Through continued government support and community participation, the project is expected to contribute to food security, increased fish production, and improved economic conditions for local residents.
