The prestigious recognition was awarded in acknowledgment of Buldon's outstanding performance in achieving key health indicators and its sustained efforts in implementing effective health programs and reforms that significantly contributed to the improvement of local health outcomes.

Along with the certificate of recognition, the municipality also received a crafted commemorative clock symbolizing the value of dedication, service, and the timely delivery of quality healthcare.

12 June 2026 | LGU Buldon and Buldon MPS Join the Celebration of the 128th Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines

The Local Government Unit of Buldon headed by Hon. Pahmia A Manalao-Masurong, together with the Buldon MPS, participated in the observance of the 128th Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines through a solemn flag-raising ceremony held in honor of the Filipino heroes whose courage and sacrifices paved the way for the nation's freedom and independence.

Municipality of Buldon Hosts Literacy Training for Educators

The Municipality of Buldon recently hosted a 2-day training on Reading and Literacy Instruction for local educators. The event took place on June 10–11, 2026, at Dinganen Central Elementary School and aimed to enhance teaching methodologies and foundational literacy skills among Grade 1-3 learners in the Buldon East and West District.

Demonstrating a shared commitment to education and community development, the Local Government Unit of Buldon actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Buldon Central Elementary School and Dinganen Buldon National High School alongside the Buldon Municipal Police Station (MPS), Philippine Marines, teachers, parents, stakeholders, and community volunteers.

A NIGHT OF GRATITUDE MARKS THE CULMINATION OF THE 4TH IRANUN PEACE FESTIVAL

The 4th Iranun Peace Festival officially concluded with an evening filled with smiles, gratitude, and celebration as participants, guests, and visitors gathered to mark the successful culmination of the much-anticipated cultural event.

Throughout the festival, the rich Iranun heritage was showcased through various activities, including cultural dance-drama presentations, traditional games, booth competitions, the Dulang Feast, kulintang ensemble performances, and other community-centered events that promoted unity among the four Iranun municipalities. The celebration served as a platform to strengthen cultural identity, foster camaraderie, and promote lasting peace across the Iranun homeland.

The culmination program also honored and recognized the individuals and organizations whose dedication and hard work contributed to the success of the festival, particularly the members of the Iranun Development Council, partner agencies, local government units, stakeholders, volunteers, and all those who played a vital role in making the celebration possible.
