The National Bureau of Investigation informs the public that it adopts a four-day onsite work schedule from Monday to Thursday, with Friday designated as a Flexible Work Arrangement Day. A joint law enforcement operation conducted by ๐—ก๐—•๐—œ ๐— ๐—œ๐— ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—ฃ๐—”, ๐—ฃ๐——๐—˜๐—” ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ผ, PDEA Calapan SIU, PNP RDEU MIMAROPA, and PNP RIU resulted in the arrest of four (4) individuals during a buy-bust operation that led to the dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Nabuslot, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro on February 24, 2026.

Confiscated from the subjects were approximately 10 grams of suspected illegal drugs (shabu) with standard value of โ‚ฑ68,000.00 and several drug paraphernalia.

The markings, photographs, and inventory of pieces of evidence and confiscated items were done at the place of incident and witnessed by the elected official from the Barangay, Media representative, and the arrested subjects who were informed of their constitutional rights.

Likewise, two (2) body-worn cameras (BWC) were used during the operation to ensure transparency and accountability. The confiscated substances were forwarded to the PDEA MIMAROPA Laboratory Section for examination.

The NBI reaffirmed its commitment to sustained intelligence-driven operations in partnership with other law enforcement agencies.

This successful operation reflects the collaborative efforts of the above-mentioned law enforcement units. The arrested individuals will face charges under Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
