A total of 1,958,287 pilgrims and travelers visited the Province of Bulacan during Holy Week 2026, including 192,693 overnight visitors and 1,765,594 same-day visitors—affirming Bulacan’s strong position as one of the country’s leading faith tourism destinations.
Among the most visited pilgrimage sites were Barasoain Church and Malolos Cathedral in the City of Malolos, the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto Shrine in the City of San Jose del Monte, Divine Mercy National Shrine in Marilao, the Lenten processions in the City of Baliwag, Bustos, Plaridel, and San Miguel, as well as the traditional Lenten rites in Kapitangan (Paombong), Dakip (Bulakan), and Santisima Trinidad.
Pilgrims also visited the Wailing Wall in Bustos, Banal na Bundok and Tatlong Persona in San Miguel, and the Padre Pio Shrines in the Cities of San Jose del Monte and Baliwag.
These reflect Bulacan’s vibrant faith traditions and enduring role as a major pilgrimage destination in the Philippines.
