To enhance gender-responsive governance and evidence-based planning, the GAD Office of LGU-Libmanan conducted a benchmarking visit to LGU-Bula. Led by Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator EnP. Warren Joseph D. Dollente, and representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), Michelle A. Dollente, OIC Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and GAD staff.๐Ÿ‘ฅ

During the exchange, LGU-Bula presented its key strategies for establishing and maintaining a functional planning database. Discussions centered on best practices for generating, managing, and utilizing sex-disaggregated data to improve Libmananโ€™s policy formulation, project ex*****on, and monitoring systems.๐Ÿ’ป

Empowering young minds for a brighter future!

San Juan Elementary School hosted the 2026 School-Based Leadership Symposium, bringing students together to talk about essential topics like Mental Health, Anti-Bullying, Gender and Development (GAD), and Disaster Preparedness. Guided by the theme, "Empowered Learners. Compassionate Leaders. Safer Schools. Stronger Communities," the event inspired future student leaders to serve with purpose, integrity, and care.

We extend our deepest gratitude to San Juan Elementary School for warm hospitality and for inviting Michelle A. Dollente, RSW as a resource speaker for this impactful activity. Together, we continue to build a safe, inclusive, and resilient school community for every learner!

On August 14, 2026, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office held its quarterly meeting with the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) Executive Committee and Technical Working Group (TWG) in the Municipality of Libmanan.

The meeting covered key updates on ongoing GAD Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), feedback from the DILG regarding the 2027 GAD Plan and Budget, and preparations for the upcoming GAD Agenda Formulation Workshop. Members reviewed progress, addressed current challenges, and focus was placed on gathering and using sex-disaggregated data to guide clear planning, policy-making, and program design.

These continuous efforts highlight the Municipality of Libmananโ€™s strong commitment to embedding gender-responsive principles into local governance and public service.

This activity was successfully conducted under the leadership and support of Mayor Edelson M. Marfil, Municipal Councilor Fredis Rasonable-Opancia, and GAD Focal Person Michelle A. Dollente, whose dedication drives inclusive development for all constituents of Libmanan.

The successful completion of Batch 1 of the Enhanced Population Awareness and Family Life Orientation (E-PAFLO) 2026, held on June 29โ€“30, marks a significant milestone in youth development for Libmanan by equipping local youth and academic scholars with essential life skills. Led by the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and supported by MSWDO and through the Gender and Development (GAD) funding, this initiative thrived on collaborative leadership from various local government offices and young speakers who provided critical sessions focused on self-awareness, body positivity, identity respect, and responsible decision-making regarding personal safety and health. Tinalakay ang kahalagahan ng Kautusang Tagapagpaganap Blg. 335 o Executive Order 335 na nagbigay dagdag kaalaman sa Wika at Komunikasyon at nagbigay ng kasanayan patungkol sa paggawa ng mga liham opisyal, pagsasalin, at Filipino Sign Language (FSL) na makatutulong na paunlarin ang kasanayan sa serbisyong pampubliko. Pinagtibay rin ng gawaing ito ang kahalagahan ng wastong komunikasyon, inklusibong paglilingkod, at patuloy na paglinang ng wikang Filipino bilang daan sa mahusay at episyenteng pamamahala.
