LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY - Isang panibagong tagumpay para sa mga Bulaeño at Bulaeña matapos tanghalin ang LGU Bula bilang isa sa mga kinilalang pinakamahusay na lokal na pamahalaan sa ginanap na Aldaw Nin Honra: Regional Recognition Ceremony for 2024 Best Performing LGUs and Good Local Governance Champions cm Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa Regional Awarding na pinangunahan ng DILG Region V noong October 30, 2025 sa The Marison Hotel, Legazpi City.

Tumanggap ang LGU Bula ng apat na parangal, kabilang ang:
- High Performing in Regional Institutional Development Support (BICOL E.K.S.P.R.E.S)
- High Performing Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC)
- Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) Regional Awardee
- Recognition of Good Local Governance Champions (Municipality of Bula People’s Council) under NGAs, CSOs, Academe, and LTIA RAC.

Kasama ni Mayor Manuel A. Ibasco Jr na tumanggap ng mga awards sina MGLOO Theza Rose Ramos, MSWDO Edita Deloverges, at CSO President Dr. Antonio Raluta.

Ang mga parangal na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na mahusay at ng dedikasyon ng buong LGU sa transparency, accountability, at malasakit sa mamamayan.

𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐋𝐆𝐑𝐂)

A proud milestone for our town.
Today, October 23, 2025, we officially opened the Bula Masarig LGRC at the Museo de Kawayan cm Library, BUB Building.

The Local Governance Resource Center will serve as a hub for learning, sharing, and collaboration. It aims to strengthen the capabilities of our local leaders and improve public service for every Bulaeños and Bulaeñas.

This initiative is made possible through the partnership of the DILG Camarines Sur and the LGU of Bula.

Empowering Gender-Responsive Governance: GFPS Execom and TWG Members Undergo Gender Analysis Training

On October 16, 2025, members of the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) Executive Committee, along with GFPS Technical Working Group (TWG) members, participated in a one-day Training on Gender Analysis held at Primus Hotel and Resort, Pacol, Naga City.

The training aimed to strengthen the participants’ capacity to integrate gender perspectives into policies, programs, and organizational processes through effective gender analysis tools and frameworks.

The sessions were facilitated by Ms. Sieglinde Bulaong, a distinguished member of the NGRP, who shared in-depth knowledge and practical applications of gender analysis in governance and development planning.

Through interactive discussions and case-based exercises, the training deepened the Execom and TWG members' understanding of gender issues, contributing to more inclusive and gender-responsive decision-making across the organization.

The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗠𝗕𝗣𝗖) participates in the 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗟𝗣𝗖) 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Support for the Local Governance Program (SLGP) held on September 4–5, 2025 at Vela Hotel, Legazpi City. With the theme “𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁,” the forum brings together CSOs and local government partners to advance participatory governance.

The objectives of the forum are to provide a venue for LPC representatives to exchange experiences, strengthen the capacity of LPC officers in articulating community concerns, identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership, and generate recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of LPCs.

The forum also highlights the vision of stronger citizen participation in governance, higher-performing LGUs, and more local governments achieving the Seal of Good Local Governance.

In line with our continuous commitment to promote 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, we are pleased to launch the 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿!

This initiative recognizes barangays that have shown outstanding performance in implementing 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗣𝗣𝗔𝘀) in line with national GAD policies and standards while promoting best practices in gender mainstreaming and strengthening institutional mechanisms for responsive governance.
