Thank you to the delegates of Senator B**g Go for coming to Buguias and personally distributing food packs to our fellow residents, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Buguias.

We are also grateful for the assistance extended through the Medical Assistance for Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP), providing much-needed support to individuals and families in need.

We are deeply grateful for Senator B**g Go’s continued support, especially for our farmers and families in need. Your kindness and concern bring hope and encouragement to our community.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

The measure is in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and poor air quality in the NCR caused by haze from severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

The Municipal Government of Buguias successfully conducted its first Flag Ceremony for the month of September, led by the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 2026-68 issued by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, the suspension of face-to-face classes from Preschool to Senior High School, including Alternative Learning System (ALS) in all public and private educational institutions throughout the Province of Benguet is hereby implemented tomorrow, September 3, 2026 (Thursday), due to the prevailing inclement weather.

Schools are encouraged to implement appropriate alternative learning modalities and other learning continuity measures, as may be feasible, to ensure that learning activities continue while face-to-face classes are suspended.

Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, through Executive Order No. 2026-68, has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes from preschool to senior high school, including the ALS (both private and public educational institutions), in the Province of Benguet tomorrow, September 3, 2026, due to the inclement weather.

Schools are encouraged to implement appropriate alternative learning modalities and other learning continuity measures, as may be feasible, to ensure that learning activities continue while face-to-face classes are suspended.

Hon. Julius M. Amos, Municipal Mayor of Buguias, announces the SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES from Pre-School to Senior High School, in both Public and Private Schools, in the Municipality of Buguias on September 2, 2026 (Wednesday). Due to the prevailing inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Schools are advised to adopt appropriate alternative learning modalities and learning continuity measures to ensure the continued delivery of learning activities during the suspension of face-to-face classes.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 133, s. 2026, Government Offices in Benguet are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on September 1, 2026, due to the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

For the private sector, work suspension or alternative work arrangements are left to the discretion of management.

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Apayao, Batanes, Nueva Vizcaya, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bataan are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 01 September 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Ngayong Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani, ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Buguias ay kaisa ng buong bansa sa pagbibigay-pugay at pagkilala sa mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay, tapang, at paglilingkod para sa kalayaan at kinabukasan ng ating bayan.

Ang kanilang mga sakripisyo ay mahalagang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan at naging daan upang matamasa natin ang mga kalayaan at karapatang mayroon tayo ngayon. Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang buhay upang patuloy nating isabuhay ang katapangan, pagmamahal sa bayan, pagkakaisa, at tapat na paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Sa bawat mabuting gawa, malasakit, at tapat na paglilingkod sa ating komunidad, naipagpapatuloy natin ang diwa ng kabayanihan.

Alalahanin ang kanilang sakripisyo. Isabuhay ang kanilang halimbawa. Ipagpatuloy ang diwa ng kabayanihan.
