BUGUEY FIRE STATION UNDER CONSTRUCTION on a lot donated by the Local Government Unit. On the foreground is the Buguey Police Station and at the background is the 2-storey K-12 building of the Licerio Antiporda Sr National High School (Main). Both structures were built on lots donated by the LGU.

2019 PARABUR FESTIVAL, JULY 21-26, proceeded smoothly as envisioned despite the rains on the first day which caused minor adjustments in the schedule of activties.

The festival with the theme: " PARABUR: PAGRANG-AYAN TI KAADUAN" is a yearly event which showcases the rich culture and traditions of the people as well as an opportunity to promote the town's bounties from its rivers and seas. It started in 2003 during the first term of Mayor Lloyd Antiporda.

Simultaneous with the festival was a 9-day Novena to Saint Anne, the town's patron saint from 1623. (Saint Vincent Ferrer was the patron saint when Buguey was established as a parish (the third in the province) in 1596.

BUGUEY's 2019 PARABUR Festival starts with a parade and an opening program on July 21, 2019 Sunday. The image of Our Lady of the Visitation of Piat will stay at the Saint Anne church from today up to July 27th. Novena to Saint Anne and Mass will be held every afternoon at 5pm.

ABC President Rofel Castillo. Concepcion Altura also took her oath as Barangay Captain of Centro. MTC-BugueyJudge Aurora Gines Arrocena was the administering officer.

The event was held in front of the Buguey Presidencia.
