𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: Snippets of the Grand Opening of Night Market and Food Festival anchored to the theme 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙣𝙤𝙣, 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 of this year's UBAS Festival on June 8 at the Esplanade, Sabang West, Bugasong, Antique.

Likewise, OKM artists and local performers took the stage to weave a perfect acoustic backdrop for a relaxing night out.

Mayor Victor R. Condez graced the night, along with Vice Mayor Susan V. Escote, SB Members Gerardo R. Antoy, Van Hymler Dala, Greg R. Togonon, Silfredo P. Maghari, Jr., and Marvin R. Rico, SP Member Noel Alamis, Department Heads, uniformed personnel from Bugasong Mps and PCG, and Sabang West Barangay Council.

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡: Dumating na ang TM Tambayan sa Ilaya Evacuation Center (AnaKalusugan Bldg.) simula ngayong araw hanggang Hunyo 12, bilang kaisa sa pagdiriwang ng UBAS Festival 2026, at sa pakipag-ugnayan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bugasong sa pamamagitan ng Bugasong Sangguniang Kabataan Federation.

Para makakuha ng freebies at makasali sa mga laro, kinakailangang mag-load lamang ng EZ50.

Halika na mga ka-TM at saksihan ang ML Tournament/Basketball 3x3 Tournament sa mga susunod na araw kasama ang SKMF Bugasong.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Joined by 43 MSMEs, the Negosyo Center Central Cluster Bazaar officially opened today and will continue until June 12, 2026, at the Uswag Building, Municipal Plaza, Bugasong, Antique, as part of the celebration of UBAS Festival 2026, with Mayor Victor R. Condez and Vice Mayor Susan V. Escote, along with SB Members Gerardo R. Antoy, Silfredo P. Maghari, Jr., Geraldine P. Pesayco, Casimira S. Dela Cruz, and Marvin R. Rico.

This display of products underscores the efforts of the municipal government to support our MSMEs, and local products as an Antiqueño helping our entrepreneurs.

In attendance during the ribbon cutting were Mary Jade R. Gonzales, OIC-PD DTI Antique, Gevi Kristina S. Sandoy, STIDS, Jenny Vi R. Cabayao, NC TIDA,Central Cluster Business Counselors, Daryl B. Arguelles, PhD, PSDS, Chris G. Sorongon from the OVP, Panay and NIR Satellite Office, and other stakeholders in the municipality.

𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗥: The Office of the Vice President, in coordination with the Municipal Government of Bugasong, conducted a Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-up Activity today, June 8, at Purok 2-3, Sabang West, Bugasong, Antique, as part of its mandate following its flagship Pagbabago: A Million Trees and Learners Campaign.

With the increasing threat from sedimentation, coastal erosion, and the unraveling of mangrove forests, this action is rooted in the vision of restoring natural barriers against storm surges, rehabilitating marine habitats, and maintaining a healthier shoreline for generations to come.

Mayor Victor R. Condez graced the event, alongside Vice Mayor Susan V. Escote, SB Member Silfredo P. Maghari, Jr., OIC-MENRO Jennifer Rose A. Tatoy, uniformed personnel from PNP, BFP and PCG, Brgy. Sabang West Council and fisherfolks.

UBAS Festival takes place in the municipality of Bugasong, Antique from June 8–12, 2026! 🎉✨

Held in honor of St. John of Sahagun, the town’s patron saint and revered Peacemaker, the festival reflects the values of harmony, community, and shared purpose that have long guided the people of Bugasong. This year’s theme, “United Bugasong, Advocating Stewardship,” highlights the community’s commitment to collective responsibility, sustainable development, and caring for the environment and future generations.

Through a series of festive activities, the UBAS Festival showcases the heritage of the people of Bugasong. This Festival serves as a reminder of the importance of unity and stewardship in building a stronger and more resilient community for all.
