“Sustaining Growth, Living by the Scouts’ Promise and Law.”
Asuncion Elementary School headed by Richard S. De Guzman, successfully commenced its Simultaneous School KID/ KAB and BOY Scouts Day and Backyard Camping through an Investiture Ceremony with the theme, “Sustaining Growth”, last December 5-6, 2025 at Asuncion Elementary School Gym.
Our Boy Scouts, started their activity on December 5, 2025 by pitching a tent and settling in for dinner before their investiture ceremony held at night. Our school's Scout Investiture Ceremony, through the leadership of Ms. Hershey Mae V. Salamat, Boy Scouts Troop Leader, and Mrs. Rogelyn H. Cruz, Assistant Troop Leader together with the Scouters and Asuncion ES teaching and Non- Teaching Staff headed by Sir Richard S. de Guzman, congratulates our new members into a journey grounded in the values, solemn act and commitment of being a scouter.
Moreover, the successful event marks a significant step in their Scouting journey especially with the newly installed and registered KID, KAB, and BOY Scouts as they pledged to live by the Scout Oath and Law, to be prepared, and to serve his fellowmen with honor, compassion and accountability. They also participated in various Activities last December 6, 2025, such as Paper Folding, Creative Construction, Games, Handicraft, Tide Turner Plastic Activity, Songs and Yell for KID/ KAB Scouts led by Mrs. Princess Joy B. Braganza, KID Scout Troop Leader, Ms. Mayette J. De Guzman, KAB Scout Troop Leader and Mrs. Mary Grace C. Fernandez, KAB Scout Assistant Troop Leader.
Furthermore, this marked the true beginning of their journey to become useful, capable, and patriotic citizens, equipped with skills and values for life's challenges!
