𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗛𝗨𝗕𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗚 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Municipality of Buenavista successfully held the Hubon Palayag Victory Party on May 29, 2026, at Lopez Central Park in celebration of Hubon Palayag's remarkable achievement as the CHAMPION of the Manggahan Festival 2026 Cultural Competition held on May 24, 2026.

The gathering served as an opportunity for the Local Government Unit of Buenavista and the community to honor and congratulate the performers, trainers, coordinators, and all individuals whose dedication, talent, and hard work brought pride and distinction to the municipality.

The program featured messages from Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin, Municipal Mayor; Hon. Cyril C. Beltran, Municipal Vice Mayor; Mr. Steven Jacosalem; and Ma'am Angie Gabinete who expressed their appreciation and congratulations to Hubon Palayag for their outstanding performance and for showcasing the rich culture, heritage, and artistry of Buenavista on the provincial stage.

As part of the celebration, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the event sponsors in recognition of their invaluable support and contributions to the successful conduct of the Victory Party.

The Local Government Unit of Buenavista, Guimaras informs all municipal officials, employees, stakeholders, and the general public that effective June 1, 2026, the Municipality shall officially revert to the regular five (5)-day workweek arrangement, following the revocation of Memorandum Order No. 2026-025.

𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐘-𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑 – 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟒

The Municipality of Buenavista, through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, successfully conducted Day 4 of the 2nd Quarter Social Pension Pay-Out for Indigent Senior Citizens on May 29, 2026.

Senior citizen beneficiaries from Barangays Santo Rosario and Rizal received their financial assistance during the scheduled pay-out held at the Santo Rosario Covered Gym. Meanwhile, beneficiaries from Barangays Zaldivar, Magsaysay, and Sawang were accommodated at the Magsaysay Covered Gym.

A total of 514 indigent senior citizens benefited from the fourth day of the pay-out, receiving financial assistance intended to help support their daily subsistence and medical needs.

The Social Pension Program is implemented pursuant to Republic Act No. 11916, which increased the monthly stipend of indigent senior citizens to provide greater support and improve their quality of life.

The Municipality of Buenavista remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering responsive social services and promoting the welfare, dignity, and well-being of the municipality’s senior citizens.

The Municipality of Buenavista, through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, successfully conducted Day 3 of the 2nd Quarter Social Pension Pay-Out for Indigent Senior Citizens on May 28, 2026.

Senior citizen beneficiaries from Barangays San Roque, Tinadtaran, and Tastasan received their financial assistance during the scheduled pay-out held at the San Roque Covered Gym.

A total of 423 indigent senior citizens benefited from the third day of the pay-out, receiving financial assistance intended to help support their daily subsistence and medical needs.

The Social Pension Program is implemented pursuant to Republic Act No. 11916, which increased the monthly stipend of indigent senior citizens to provide greater support and improve their quality of life.

The Municipality of Buenavista remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering responsive social services and promoting the welfare, dignity, and well-being of the municipality’s senior citizens.

The Municipality of Buenavista, through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, successfully conducted Day 2 of the 2nd Quarter Social Pension Pay-Out for Indigent Senior Citizens on May 27, 2026.

Senior citizen beneficiaries from Barangays Montpiller and Barangay Daragan received their financial assistance during the scheduled pay-out held at the Barangay Daragan Covered Gym. Meanwhile, beneficiaries from Barangays San Isidro and Barangay Old Poblacion were accommodated at the Barangay Old Poblacion Covered Gym.

A total of 466 indigent senior citizens benefited from the second day of the pay-out, receiving financial assistance intended to help support their daily subsistence and medical needs.

The Social Pension Program is implemented pursuant to Republic Act No. 11916, which increased the monthly stipend of indigent senior citizens to provide greater support and improve their quality of life.

The Municipality of Buenavista remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering responsive social services and promoting the welfare, dignity, and well-being of the municipality’s senior citizens.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

Pursuant to Office of the President Proclamation No. 1264, May 27, 2026 (Wednesday) is declared a Regular Holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

In line with this, all offices of the Local Government Unit of Buenavista will be closed on the said date. Regular office operations and services will resume on May 28, 2026 (Thursday).

The Municipality of Buenavista, through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, successfully conducted Day 1 of the 2nd Quarter Social Pension Pay-Out for Indigent Senior Citizens on May 26, 2026.

Senior citizen beneficiaries from Barangay Piña and Barangay Agsanayan received their financial assistance during the scheduled pay-out held at the Agsanayan Covered Gym.

A total of 387 indigent senior citizens benefited from the first day of the pay-out, receiving financial assistance intended to help support their daily subsistence and medical needs.

The Social Pension Program is implemented pursuant to Republic Act No. 11916, which increased the monthly stipend of indigent senior citizens to provide greater support and improve their quality of life.
