02 June 2026 | Fire Incident ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ

Bureau of Fire Protection BARMM Taraka Fire Station duty personnel headed by SFO2 Arnold B Doping, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of FCINSP CHRISTEL G SOTELO, MPA, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, together with PDRRMO, and Ditsaan Ramain Fire Station, promptly responded to a fire incident in Brgy. Rogero, Bubong, Lanao del Sur. Through swift and coordinated action, the fire was immediately controlled around 0930H.

๐Ÿ“ข PARTIAL INCIDENT REPORT | Fire Incident in Barangay Rogero, Bubong, Lanao del Sur

Today, a fire incident occurred in Barangay Rogero, Bubong, Lanao del Sur, affecting a total of five (5) structures, including four (4) residential houses belonging to different families and the Barangay Hall.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Ramain promptly responded to the incident and successfully brought the fire under control, preventing further damage to nearby properties.

As of this report, no casualties or injuries have been recorded. Assessment and validation of the affected families and damaged properties are still ongoing.

The Bubong Rural Health Unit (RHU) Led by MHO De. Anesah Madid Tominoray remains on standby and committed to providing immediate medical assistance and emergency health services should the need arise.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the BFP personnel, local responders, barangay officials, and community volunteers who worked together to respond to the incident and ensure the safety of the affected residents.

We continue to pray for the safety, strength, and recovery of all families affected by this unfortunate event.

LOOK๐Ÿ‘€|| FREE RABIES VACCINATION IN BUBONG

The Provincial Veterinary Office of Lanao del Sur will conduct a Free Rabies Mass Vaccination on June 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bubong Municipal Hall. Pet owners are encouraged to bring their pets, 3 months old and above, in good health to avail of this free service.

This important activity aims to help protect our families and community from rabies. Let us support this program and work together for a safer and rabies-free Bubong.

The Office of the Deputy Chief Minister โ€“ Mainland, led by MP Aleem Ali B. Solaiman, conducted a consultative meeting with the Local Government Unit of Bubong, headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Alfais T. Munder.

The meeting was attended by LGU department heads, representatives from line agencies, municipal employees, and members of civil society organizations (CSOs).

During the activity, the officeโ€™s six flagship programs were discussed, namely Project Tabang, Ambag, Kapyanan, MRP, Project Salam, and SLMG. The discussion covered their implementation across the BARMM region and the possible expansion of these programs. Furthermore, the main issues and concerns of the community of Bubong were also raised and addressed.

The Ministry of Science and Technology โ€“ Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOST-BARMM) paid a courtesy visit to the Local Government Unit of Bubong, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Alfais T. Munder.

During the visit, MOST-BARMM formally extended an invitation to the LGU of Bubong, through the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, to participate in the BARMM Stakeholder Consultation Workshop and Capacity Development on Legal Metrology, which will be held on July 28โ€“30, 2026, in Marawi City.

The activity aims to strengthen the capacity of local government units in the implementation of legal metrology, particularly in ensuring accurate weights and measures, promoting fair trade practices, and enhancing consumer protection.

The Local Government Unit of Bubong conveys its appreciation to MOST-BARMM for this initiative and reaffirms its commitment to actively engage in programs that promote effective governance and improved public service delivery
