𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐏 𝐑𝐔𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Bubong Rural Health Unit, led by Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray, Municipal Health Officer, actively participated in the PhilHealth YAKAP Run 2026, organized by the PhilHealth BARMM Regional Office today August 29, 2026 at Provincial Capitol Complex, Marawi City.

More importantly, the activity served as an opportunity to raise awareness on the PhilHealth YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program), which strengthens access to essential primary care services and preventive health interventions. Through YAKAP, PhilHealth members are encouraged to take a more proactive role in maintaining their health through regular consultations, health screening, and appropriate preventive care.

The Bubong RHU recognizes the importance of bringing health promotion beyond the walls of health facilities and into the community—reinforcing the message that prevention, early detection, and access to quality primary care are key to achieving healthier communities.

The Bubong Rural Health Unit extends its commendation to PhilHealth Regional Office - BARMM headed by Atty. Dagoroan Macarambon for the successful conduct of the PhilHealth YAKAP Run 2026 and for providing a meaningful platform that brings together healthcare workers and stakeholders in advancing health and wellness.

A healthy healthcare workforce strengthens the delivery of quality healthcare—and a well-informed community is empowered to take charge of its health.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗠–𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗬𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗣 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗞 | 𝗥𝗛𝗨 𝗕𝗨𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚

The PROBARMM–PhilHealth Insurance System, in partnership with the Bubong Rural Health Unit (RHU), conducted a Help Desk Assistance to support constituents in accessing the YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan) Program.

The activity also included the release and distribution of PhilHealth Identification Cards (PhilHealth IDs) to eligible constituents, helping ensure easier access to PhilHealth services and benefits.

We sincerely appreciate the efforts of all personnel and partners who made this initiative possible. Together, we continue to bring accessible, responsive, and inclusive healthcare services closer to the people of Bubong. 💚

The Violence and Injury Prevention Program Advocacy and Orientation was successfully conducted at the Bubong Rural Health Unit under the leadership of MHO Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray., The said program is to strengthening the knowledge and awareness of health workers on the prevention of violence, injuries, and related health concerns in the community.

The activity was organized by the Ministry of Health–BARMM personnel, led by Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding, in partnership with the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) – Lanao del Sur, under the supervision of PHO II Dr. Alinader D. Minalang.

The orientation served as an important avenue to promote prevention, early identification, appropriate response, referral, and community-based interventions related to violence and injuries.

Through strengthened collaboration among MOH, IPHO, RHU personnel, and community health workers, we continue to advocate for safer, healthier, and more resilient communities in Bubong.

Together, let us prevent violence, reduce injuries, and protect every member of our community.

The activity was headed by MHO Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray and featured informative lectures from our dedicated health personnel covering maternal health, family planning, HIV prevention and vaccine benefits, adolescent mental health, and the importance of HPV vaccination. The participants were also given the opportunity to actively engage through an open Question-and-Answer session.

We sincerely thank MCR Ma’am Norhaya Tocalo of LGU Bubong for joining and supporting the activity, as well as all our participants, health personnel, and partners who contributed to its success.

The Bubong Rural Health Unit conducted an orientation for its Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Bangsamoro Nutrition Workers (BNWs) regarding the implementation of the new reporting form and reporting system.
The orientation aimed to ensure that all BHWs and BNWs understand the purpose of the new reporting form, the information required, the proper accomplishment and submission of reports, and their respective roles and responsibilities in the reporting and validation process.

The activity provided valuable technical guidance and support to strengthen our implementation and utilization of the iClinicSys, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely health information management and reporting.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the MOH–KMITS Team and IPHO Lanao del Sur for their continuous technical assistance and support to our RHU.

Special thanks as well to the MOH–KMITS Team in partnership of International Organization for Migration (IOM) for providing the complete set of computers/PC equipment to support the digitalization of our health information system and improve our service delivery.

The Bubong Rural Health Unit, under the leadership of Municipal Health Officer Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray, together with our Doctors-to-the-Barrios (DTTB), Dr. Haniya S. Angintaopan, successfully participated in the Orientation on the Updated Philippine Package of Essential Noncommunicable Disease Interventions (PhilPEN), Non Communicable program

The activity was attended by RHU staff, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Bangsamoro Nutrition Workers (BNWs) to strengthen their knowledge and competencies in implementing Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) services, nutrition interventions, and cancer prevention and control programs, ensuring the delivery of quality, accessible, and people-centered primary healthcare services.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Health–BARMM, headed by Minister Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding Jr., and to Ma'am Michelle Lu for facilitating the orientation and for the generous provision of essential program paraphernalia for our RHU personnel, BHWs, and BNWs. These materials will greatly support the effective implementation of PhilPEN, and NCDs Programs in our municipality.

The Bubong RHU remains committed to continuously strengthening the capacity of our healthcare workforce and advancing Universal Health Care (UHC) through collaboration, innovation, and quality service delivery.

The Municipality of Bubong, Lanao del Sur is honored to receive a Plaque of Recognition from the Amai Pakpak Medical Center – Blood Bank for being one of the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 with the highest number of blood donors during the Mobile Blood Donation (MBD) Program, proudly securing 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟲.

FIRST MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY 🇵🇭

The Bubong Rural Health Unit commenced the first Monday of the month with a Flag Raising Ceremony, led by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Anesah M. Tominoray, together with the dedicated RHU personnel.

Following the ceremony, program coordinators presented updates on the current status, accomplishments, and priority activities of their respective health programs. The meeting also served as a venue to strengthen coordination, monitor progress, address challenges, and align strategies to ensure the effective delivery of quality healthcare services to the people of Bubong.

The Bubong RHU remains steadfast in its commitment to providing accessible, equitable, and quality health services in support of the Universal Health Care (UHC) Program and the health and well-being of every Bubongan.

Alhamdulillah! The Bubong Rural Health Unit successfully conducted the Orientation on the New Monthly Reporting Template for our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), followed by the distribution of BHW Kits to support them in delivering quality primary healthcare services within their respective communities.

The orientation provided updates on the new reporting format to ensure accurate, timely, and standardized submission of monthly reports, strengthening our health information system and improving program monitoring.

The distribution of BHW Kits is a significant initiative that equips our dedicated Barangay Health Workers with the essential tools and materials needed in their daily community health services, enabling them to better serve every household and strengthen the implementation of primary healthcare programs.
