On going clearing of canals in Manacab Poblacion in preparation to Typhoon Uwan.

The Buadiposo-Buntong Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office together with the Municipal Engineering Clearing Unit conducts clearing of waterways in the flood prone area of Manacab Poblacion. Constituents are advised to prepare for the storm and make necessary reports to the MDRRMO.

4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.
The Buadiposo-Buntong Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office conducted the 4th Quarter NSED to selected Elementary Schools in the municipality. The said activity aims to enhance the preparedness of the schools during earthquake.

The Provincial Government of Lanao Del Sur through the Provincial DRRM Office - LANAO DEL SUR conducted a culmination program in celebration to the National Disaster Resilience Month 2025. The Buadiposo-Buntong Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and other DRRM offices around Lanao del Sur participated the event together with the stakeholders of disaster resilience in the province. The office received recognitions in its support to the province and for having a fully compliant status to the Gawad KALASAG awards given by the Office of Civil Defense and was recieved by Engr. Alirasul Mosib. This recognition and awards was made possible due to the unwavering support of the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Noron G. Dadayan, JD to the office and the entire DRRM Council members.

The office of MSSD Buadiposo-Buntong tapped the Buadiposo-Buntong DRRMO to assist in distributing Emergency Go Bags. The office, together with the partneship with the Buadiposo Buntong Rhu and Provincial DRRM Office - LANAO DEL SUR, gave Disaster Resilience lecture and an orientation to BLS. The target beneficiaries are the first responders, the barangays. It is crucial for a barangay responder to understand the basics of life support.

As we expand our reach in the advocacy of Disaster Resilience, the Buadiposo-Buntong Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office conducted another Basic Life Support orientation in partnership with the Provincial DRRM Office - LANAO DEL SUR and the Buadiposo Buntong Rhu in the Buntong Poblacion Elementary School. The orientation is intended for the teachers and was further attended by the elementary pupils. Subsequently, a Disaster Resilience orientation specifically in fire safety was also introduced.

As a month long celebration of the Disaster Resilience Month of July, the Buadiposo-Buntong Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office in partnership with the Provincial DRRM Office - LANAO DEL SUR and the Buadiposo Buntong Rhu conducted an orientation about Disaster Resilience specifically about Fire Safety and about Basic Life Support and First Aid in the Abedin Memorial National High School . The orientation emphasized the IEC about disaster in the education sector. The active participation of the students and faculty proved that it is possible to educate every constituent in Buadiposo-Buntong regarding the DRRM.

As part of the celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month of July, the Buadiposo-Buntong Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office conducted a shadowing to the students of Sultan Solaiman Dalauk Lala Technical Institute in their training for Emergency Medical Services NC II. The head of office, Engr Alirasul M. Mosib, led the students by reviewing the basics of BLS and important principles. The students also pay there courtesy exit to Hon. Noron G. Dadayan, JD and give their since gratitude for the accommodation in the said activity.

The Local Government Unit of Buadiposo-Buntong thru the Buadiposo-Buntong Disaster Risk and Management Office celebrates the month of July as Disaster Resiliency Month. The Local Chief Executive, Hon. Noron G. Dadayan, JD, emphasized the importance of resiliency not just in times of disaster but also in our daily life. Furthermore, the month long celebration includes activities across the municipality to strengthen the thematic areas of DRRM.
