The Data Repopulation Workshop on the Capacity Development (CapDev) Analytics System was successfully conducted on 20–21 July 2026 at Ritz Hotel, Davao City, bringing together DILG Field Officers across Region XI. The workshop focused on the newly launched CapDev Analytics System developed by the DILG Regional ICT Unit, which provides a systematic and data-driven approach to identifying and addressing capacity gaps of Local Government Units based on assessment results from governance audits such as the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), Peace and Order Council (POC), Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), and other DILG performance assessment tools.

For the Municipality of Boston, LGOO VI Reymel Valera successfully completed the encoding and validation of LGU ratings across all performance areas, ensuring accurate and reliable data that will guide the formulation of appropriate capacity development interventions.

In the near future, the CapDev Analytics System is also envisioned to serve as a vital reference for evidence-based planning, policy development, and the enhancement of local governance strategies, enabling LGUs to make informed decisions and implement responsive programs that address identified governance gaps.
