In the exigency of service and support to good local governance, the installation of Rizza Alido as MLGOO of the Municipality of Llorente was held on June 4, 2026 following the retirement and official separation from service of then MLGOO Gemma Amit in May 2026.

The activity was also attended by OIC Provincial Director Engr. Jesus Jeremy D. Bagares, Cluster Head Jerry Enriquez, and LGOO II Athea Yanuario.

The turnover was complemented by a courtesy visit to the Municipal Mayor, with focus on constructive exchange of ideas and shared commitment, to advancing the municipalityโ€™s development agenda. PD Bagares emphasized that MLGOO Alido is an asset that will help bridge the vision and priorities of the Local Government Unit, the strategic role of the DILG in supporting local governance initiatives, and the expectations and responsibilities moving forward. Through this transition, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to responsive, accountable, and development-oriented governance in service of the people of Llorente.

OIC-Provincial Director Engr. Jesus Jeremy D. Bagarespaid a courtesy visit to Hon. Benjamin E. Ver, MD, Municipal Mayor of Jipapad, Eastern Samar, as part of efforts to strengthen coordination and collaboration between the DILG and its component local government units. With him were Cluster Head Jerry Enriquez, LGOO II Athea Yanuario, and ADA IV Myles Dequila.

The occasion also marked the formal turnover of duties and responsibilities from MLGOO Rizza R. Alido to MLGOO Engr. Dicky A. Amida. The turnover signifies the continuity of quality public service and the sustained implementation of DILG programs and initiatives in the municipality.

The activity was attended by punong barangays, heads of offices, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members demonstrating their support and commitment to effective local governance and public service excellence.

DILG Eastern Samar extends its gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Jipapad and all stakeholders for their warm welcome and continued partnership in promoting responsive, accountable, and people-centered governance.
